My wife and I traveled with pack-and-play for our baby. This takes up a decent amount of room, but the room we had was smaller than average and made if very cramped. The carpet was dirty. We could here the TV from the next room very clearly. The breakfast wasn't great. Powdered egg and bunt paper-thin bacon. The automatic pancake maker was a nice touch though. Press a button and two pancakes get made on a conveyor belt in front of you. The service was friendly and the beds were comfortable.

Parking is TERRIBLE. When they're full there arent enough parking spots and the only other choice is to park at Denny's next door which is frowned upon. Dont roll in latw on a weekend because you wont be able to park anywhere. Beds and pillows were comfy. Floors were old carpet based on stains, but they were vacuumed and as clean as they could get them. Bathrooms were clean. These rooms are the kind where the sink is outside of the bathroom and the bathrroom area was actually bigger than some. Still small but not tiny like lots of them are. Our room had the SHORTEST toilet I've ever seen which was weird. I liked the layout because i could have the bathroom and sink area lights on without in blinding my kids and waking them up. Very dark blackout curtains. AC worked ok, but we couldnt get it cold enough for our liking (67° to sleep). It was loud, but we like ambient noice so it didnt bother us. There was a spot in the ceiling right next to the air intake vent that dripped water and it was gross. I think it was condensation from the ac. Breakfast was decent. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, breakfast potatoes, and they alternated between bacon and sausage. They also had your standard quick breakfast stuff. Pool was fine. Pool and hot tub were the same temp. Overall i would stay there again. I would stay there again.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with kindness. We were in KC for a family emergency and our time was made easier by the good breakfast options, a nice hot tub to decompress in, and a nice clean room to get some much needed sleep. I would definitely stay here again!

Clean, quiet, and close to area shopping and dining. The rooms are a bit smaller than where we typically stay but perfectly sized for two of us in a double room. It would be a tighter fit for our family of four (and everyone's stuff.)

Lotus bought out Drury Inn and there has been no updates. Toilet didn't work right and is so low to the floor like a kids tiolet. Bed was okay, just really soft. Floors were dirty. Pool was good. They just desperately need to update.

As a family of four we stayed 5 nights. I called ahead to verify the pool and hot tub were working as this is an important part of vacation for our family. The pool was so cold and when I complained we were told that was normal and heated. Not even the children staying there used the pool they were all in the hot tub. We bought a thermometer and checked and it was only 48 degrees I was assured that was heated and normal. The first day we had no hot water in our room and I was assured a maintenance man would be coming to check it. The next morning we had hot water but half way through my shower the water turned off completely. The maintenance man was working on the system and turned off the water with no warning to guests. I sat wet and covered in soap and shampoo for more then 30 minutes before getting water turned back on. The heat worked in the room for night one after that there was no heat. Night two the room got down to 58 degrees. We were told there was nothing they could do because while they were messing with the water the day before they had switched the boiler to summer so heat was no longer available only cold would blow. The “compensation” we were offered for all of these issues was a space heater for our room. The staff felt like 11:00pm was an appropriate time to vacuum the halls outside of the rooms on the first floor. And trust I would have changed hotels had I not already paid for the entire visit and we were told they would not refund since it was
