My family and I recently stayed at the hotel while visiting the Des Moines area for a family wedding. Not only was it a beautiful hotel and a very comfortable room, the staff was so pleasant and helpful whenever we had questions. We loved the breakfast buffet at Johnny’s Steakhouse, it was so delicious! And we really liked how centrally located it was for other dining and shopping in the area. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area, and I would stay here again the next time I’m in town.

Clean good location, room fit my large family. 4pm checkin time is pretty late. Arrived at 3 pm and our room wasnt ready.

My son had a basketball tournament in Des Moines. One word : PERFECT. Loved this place. Clean, comfy, spacious suite. Near lots of shopping and restaurants. This will be our go to every single time we go to Des Moines. Only complaint if I'm nit picking would be the pool was cold for our kids. Other than that, amazing place. Steakhouse was amazing as well.

Stayed for an overnight event with family in the area. We arrived late in the evening but still received friendly service at check-in. Property is clean and parking is very convenient. It is also close to shopping and coffee places. The room was very clean. The sheets were immaculate and the bathroom was well-stocked and clean. We will stay here again.

Greeted warmly at front desk and got complimentary drinks st the bar. Ended up having best dessert ever (banana cheesecake) as well. Room was lovely, spacious and clean. Pool was much smaller than it looked in the pictures but fun for kids (not really big enough for adults to swim). Got included breakfast and was terrific!

My family stayed here for three nights. Of the four sleeping spots on the two queen beds, two were blasted by the AC all night -- somewhat unusual aiming of the vent, which was not adjustable. The shower had a small rack for a bar of soap. Other than that, there was no room for a shampoo container, let alone anything else. I guess we're supposed to use the floor. Unusual. Otherwise, the hotel was great!
