Sleep Inn & Suites West Des Moines near Jordan Creek

I only liked the housekeeping staff other than that the owners do not know how to give customers their privacy what a customer does outside of the hotel is not their business I paid good money for about a week or more. They told my mom we had to go. This is what made me leave this place and go to a Marriott. Folks can drink in the parking lot of the hotel but when it comes to Black people we can’t do what white folks do. I don’t recommend this hotel, not family friendly and they do not clean pool, breakfast is the same everyday is also late due to short staff the workers complain about the owners that’s why they have no staff. Please go somewhere that’s not racist, and have better rooms for the same price.

Decent hotel. Breakfast was good and staff were nice. Some amenities were a little dated but it got the job done. We were right above the pool so we did hear a lot of screaming children but it wasnt much of an issue since it was quiet at night. Near lots of shops and right off the high way so very convenient.

Whether was miserable but the staff kept the entry & hallsclean and dry. Tgey were very helpful when my child was ill in providing clean linen. Food area was immaculate.

On way home to Indiana from vacation. Drove 650 miles, pooped. Reserved online on way and ready to sleep. Sam, at desk, was so kind and friendly, checked us in super quick. Sam even called to make sure our room was satisfactory. It was! Super clean, modern, and comfy. Next door to Steak & Shake, quick burger and shake, and off to bed. Slept like a baby. Checkout quick, grabbed some delicious coffee & breakfast, and back on the road. Thanks for a great stay

The room was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the free breakfast and area available for small groups to gather. Kelly was working in the breakfast area putting food out and helping guests. She was exceptionally welcoming and made us feel like we were at home with family. Unfortunately Expedia lists this property with a hot tub. This is not true! We were very disappointed to learn this when checking in.

We booked a room via Travelocity for the same day as we were on a road trip. My family wore out and we decided we couldn’t keep driving to get to Des Moines. I called hotel to cancel. The rude desk clerk refused to refund the room charge even though we were trying to cancel about an hour after we had booked the room. Travelocity also attempted to get us a refund that day -same response. They also followed up today with the manager. Manager refused the refund as well. I’m incredibly disappointed. Zero understanding. I hope they enjoy the $. I will never ever stay with them in the future. I hope you don’t either!

In town to visit family. View from our room was blocked by the port above entrance. Our bed was super comfortable! Breakfast ends at 9:00 am and was very good. Information about breakfast time needs to be updated on signs and room information book. It states breakfast ends at 10:00 a.m. Pool didn’t look very clear so we chose not to swim. Great Steak & Shakes restaurant right across the parking lot. Nice area.
