Was kind of disappointed in this one. We stayed just under 2 years ago. We usually stay by there but since they had a hit tub chose to stay here. Well got checked in sign on the door stated they permenatly closed it. In the two years or so since we stayed it has taken a beating with appears no tlc. Walls are banged up so on. Friday night they had a big group of kids for vollyball some where you could hear every step they made running the halls and in rooms also if you have a interstate side very loud. There are way better hotels in that area alone.

Excellent location for visiting Ankeny, Huxley, and Ames. Hotel staff were friendly, and hotel had all the amenities we needed for a weekend stay. Complimentary breakfast had lots of options. Pool was small, but still fun for our family.

The room smelled like Febreeze that they spray on the carpet and I am sensitive to that spray. The breakfast was not very good - no fresh fruit or healthy options. The kids enjoyed the pool.

Great experience! Kids loved the pool. Loved that there’s a hot tub as well. Breakfast included which we love for the kids. Everyone was friendly, was nice and quiet. Location was great. Would definitely stay there again.

Beds and pillows were very comfy, the TV in the room is quite large. The room was clean and well-appointed. My teenagers enjoyed the pool, although it isn't very big and got quite crowded with kids at times. The hot tub (which was one of the reasons I chose that hotel over others nearby) was okay- it was actually TOO hot. No one could stay in it for more than a couple of minutes. Overall a good stay.
