Our request for a room on the bottom floor by an outside door. The front desk woman was so accommodating to our request. All of our family lives in Iowa, so we visit as often as possible. We always try to stay at the LaQuinta in Ankeny Iowa. The location and the accommodations are perfect for our needs. We thank you for the wonderful hospitality LaQuinta staff, Ankeny Iowa. We will be back!

The hotel was full of unattended children running and screaming. Over a hundred kids on each floor. The elevator also broke down and we were on the top floor. I have called the manager but have gotten no response.

Only issue is our room is on 3rd floor, and come back from supper and elevator does not work. Being 65 with bad knees and legs, hard to walk up all the stairs. So since elevator does not work cannot go down to pool are with kids and grandkids

Loved it. We were in town for a football camp and was a great safe place to crasg with the family. Breakfast was a hot breakfast and enough to energize everyone for the big day.

I thought it was strange that they had a table set up in the lobby with everything fun kids would play with in summer, with a sign that asked people not to touch it.

This is our 2nd stay … We appreciated the walking distance to restaurants, the cleanliness of the room, the bed comfort and linens were excellent, the air conditioning great! as well as the hot/cold breakfast selections(however, for some reason the coffee was quite weak( might have been a fluke. A couple improvements I would recommend… hangers and a rod to put our coats etc My husband fell in the tub though it was loaded with grab bars however there could be some skids strips placed on the bottom of the tub… to slippery… grateful he didn’t get hurt!

The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and sufficient in towels. Everything was great! My kids enjoyed the swimming pool and they have a great lobby with board games and space to sit with friends, which we did!

Our family of four enjoyed our stay! They had a crib ready for us in the room when we arrived. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has been recently renovated, and the gym and pool looked nice! The breakfast was also very good. I’m glad we stayed here, and I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here because I got a good deal with hotels.com. i was at first ify about it because of the low price. It was a great stay! It was quiet and clean. My kid had fun using the pool. The beds are comfy and we slept in. The whole place is clean and safe! The breakfast is good and they have plenty of options. I honestly really liked our stay and didnt want to check out. It was a very comfortable stay.
