Overall I liked the property. My main issue was that the place was incredibly loud with what looked like baseball teams and their families. We couldn't even use the hot tub after a really long day because the kids were running and screaming everywhere around the pool area....with not a single parent around or saying anything. The hallways were even loud during the evening.

We had to switch rooms after getting checked into our original room when the fridge didn’t work and smelled awful then the room they put us in above us there was kids who just ran back-and-forth the whole time we were there

I rarely write reviews, but after some bad hotel experiences, I really wanted to give kudos to this hotel! The check-in was probably the quickest and easiest check-in, I've ever experienced with a hotel. No matter what staff, I encountered they were all friendly. Parking was hassle free and accessible, which is not always the case when staying close to a downtown area. My kids loved the pool, hot tub and breakfast! Starbuck is across the parking lot as well, which is always nice and convenient.

Noisy family above us. The children ran back and forth until 10:30, again at 3:00am, and were up at 6:00am running continuously. It was a very expensive stay for only 6 hours of sleep. Why don’t desk clerks put families on lower levels, and singles and couples above? The room was clean, beds too firm for my taste. Shower gel container was empty. Good breakfast, fresh cinnamon rolls. Will ask for top floor at future hotel stays.

The location was perfect for us. The were sketchy people walking around outside and one was trying to get inside the exit door by the pool. We ignored him. The kids liked the pancakes at breakfast and we appreciated the shuttle to Wells Fargo arena!!! Staff is nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. We stayed in room 415 and it had a weird smell but seemed clean so not sure why it smelled weird but we got use to it. Overall I’d stay there again but not in room 415.

Excellent service, room very clean. I will stay at this hotel again if my family travel to university of Des Moines.
