Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Des Moines West, IA

Beds were very small. Paid for two nights and tried to cancel after the first. They were not able to stay. Just wasn’t the place for me or my family. Staff was friendly.

We were very pleased with our stay at Country Inn and Suites in Clive, IA. It would have been better if they had better selections at breakfast. Eggs and potatoes on Saturday, so very little protein. On Sunday, there was just biscuits and gravy with no true protein option. Also a little disgusted by the family beside us at breakfast with no shoes on while they ate. They were allowed to continue to eat without any staff member saying anything to them. I think that is just very disrespectful to all the rest of us also eating.

I was at the hotel with a family member. She got her room cleaned every day, but I was told I had to request housekeeping if I wanted it.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, a pool for the kiddos, pet friendly and free breakfast. Our only real issue was that the internet was kind of lousy - we were in the last room at the end of the hall but still…

Very clean and new hotel. People were nice and helpful. We went during a kids event so the place was flooded with kids running and jumping around the property but that wasn’t the hotels fault. They were very professional

Hot tub and pool area were the reason we stayed here. Very nice and clean. The family loved it. The only issue is the tub being clogged and standing in water in the shower. I wish when cleaning the room, staff would fill up the tub a little and blunge to make sure there are no clogs in the bathtub. I run into this all the time in hotels and is pretty gross. Other than that hotel was good.

Nice large pool for the kids. Clean and comfortable.

There were black marks on our walls. The rooms were very hot. We had to clean out two very very dirty A/C filters before our unite even blew cold air. The sink was cracked, and no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The faucet and shower head were coming away from the wall. The iron fixture was also coming out from the wall. The couch arms had very noticeable stains. The pool area looked nice from a far, but when i went to get into the hot tub i noticed the tile lining was caked with scum. The flapper doors in the wall drains were also caked in scum and also looked moldy. The seats and flooring in The hot tub had brown stains all over. I moved into the pool and noticed debris all over the bottom of the pool, same brown stains along the walls, the same caked on scum around the tile and flapper doors of the wall drains. All in all this experience has made a lasting impression on my family. We will definitely not be staying in a Radisson Hotel ever again.

Excellent for families

The suites that I reserved were awesome! Clean, nice lay out. We were there for our family new year’s party. T was awesome. Everyone had a good time.
