Candlewood Suites Indianapolis East, an IHG Hotel

After I looked a suite for me and my family only to get there with no suites available so we all had to share one room

Upon reserving g sent message stating would need a crib for an infant traveling with us. Called prior to our departure confirming a crib would be available and was told they had it ready for us. Upon arrival, the front desk employee was very disinterested in helping us and told us he would see if they had one but he didn’t think they did because, one of them had a torn mattress and the other one was broken. The facility was rundown and had to change rooms because the first room had dried crusty substance on the table and chair had been written on In Sharpie as well as the cork board in the room. We had to pay a surprise $100 fee for “incidentals” in case of damages to the room, waiting for this to be credited back to my account. The AM staff seemed nicer but not an enjoyable stay. Do not recommend

Had a bug, room was clean or towels after the 1st night could not shower before I checked out. A child was vacuuming

We were in town for a funeral. This was centrally located to family, church and the funeral home. We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel but it excelled in what we needed. Kind staff, access to the business center to check emails, very comfortable bed, wonderful shower and spacious room for us to navigate as we got ready for our events.

It was absolutely terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to a dog. I took my kids there to get a break from home.. now I do stay 6.5hrs away from this hotel. I was supposed to stay 2 nights but ended up only staying barely one day due to the fact that there were roaches crawling from every each way. When I told the workers about the roach infestation they said they just “sprayed” the hotel and recommended me to another room.. I politely declined that request packed me and my 3 kids belongings and hit the highway home at 11pm..
