Toilet clogged and over flowed. Was asked if I wanted to change rooms, should have apologized and then offered to move rooms. I was trying to leave to go to family reunion. Housekeeper sent to room and told us we just needed to plunge it. We didn't have a plunger and we paid to stay in a hotel not to plunge our toilet. Bathroom was mopped. When we returned the room stunk of sewage. Asked to move rooms, they did move us.

Nice clean room, Nice breakfast buffet overall, it was a nice place to stay and I would recommend it to my friend and family.

I did not like the fact on the second day of our 6 day stay I started to have heart problems, I am 78 and my heart has been getting worse for the last few years, but I wanted to see my four great grand kids that I had yet to see.
My daughter is an RN and lives in that area. She wanted me to say with he until she could get me on a plane home.
We let the front desk what was going on and told them we
needed to cancel the last four days of our stay.
They would not refund us for the days we were not there.
I feel that is really low and bad business.
I will never pay up front or stay at any Howard Johnsons
ever again. There are to many GOOD places to stay that
have a reasonable Cancelation Policy,

Room furniture, desk chair broken the fabric chair had stains bad. Bathroom, shower coating in tub seperating you feel like you are falling through the toilet was child suze and the fan was super noisy. Had 2 bugs in room. Could hear neighbors tv all night long. We have stayed here many times before this was the worst. Probably going to find new hotel in Evansville.

We spent the weekend there to meet 2 family members. The room was beautiful, very clean and plenty of clean towels and HOT WATER. The room was handi-cap accessible as requested, which was a blessing. The beds were very comfortable, and lots of fresh pillows. Many closeby restaurants, stores and gas stations. Staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you!!

This was absolutely our worst hotel stay ever. Our room was very dirty. (Hair, dirt, dust). The staff was incredibly rude and disrespectful. We were treated terribly. We took our kids to swim. Big mistake. Someone had taken a bowel movement in the pool. Our kids were devastated. We had six families and we all left. The staff got very rude. We asked politely for a refund as we had to pay for another hotel room. It was a total trainwreck. Hotels.com should definitely have some type of protection against establishments like this.

We had to make an unexpected trip to Southern Indiana for a funeral of a family member. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Wasn't impressed by the external building, needed some changes. Greeted by gentlemen who seemed slightly unprofessional, then he requested a deposit on the room. I had never heard of that. I was greatly distressed by that, and I began to have a negative outlook about the hotel, I was looking for a way to cancel the second night. The breakfast area looked scarce. The room looked very clean, carport looked old which added to my thoughs and negativeness. Bathroom clean. When I spoke to family in the area, they stated that is a common practice now for a deposit. Change is hard to learn sometimes. Then I began to see the hotel differently. We had a good stay.
