Selected Cobblestone because they listed a swimming pool, but it turned out to be closed indefinitely. This was a big disappointment for the kids. I was also disappointed because they only had one ice machine and it was out of order. I ended up spending $10 on ice from the gas station across the street.

The property was secluded. There was limited food resources in the immediate area. The food resources were mediocre. One had to travel miles south to find and food resources worth paying good $ for. I don’t believe that we would stay in this property if we ever travelled to the Louisville Charlestown area in the future. We also would not recommend the property to any of or family or friends.

Should let people know the condition of the pool area before the book a room. I only stayed there so my grandkids could swim. Won't make that mistake again

Stayed here with family and we used several rooms. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They made sure we had rooms close together and they kept the pool open a little later since we had checked in later at night, but our kids wanted to swim. We all slept well and breakfast though small, was a good quick breakfast to start our day (cereal, toaster items, fruit, yogurt, make your own waffles, biscuits & gravy, and sausage with peppers/onions).

I like that it was close to family. At one time this was a very nice hotel but has been let run down. The pool was dirty. Someone else was checked in the same room as myself. They literally went in and removed his belongings. I am unsure if the bed linens were clean and if the room had been sanitized before my arrival.

I liked that they had a bar just wish I would have known about how the town was flushing the water pipes this month had to find out from a family member after I gave the water to my baby in his bottle

We were visiting family and friends in the area. This hotel was quiet, clean, convenient, and the staff was amazing! The only complaint we had was the bed was a little hard for us. It was a great stay, we will return!
