La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bloomington

Disappointing. Uncomfortable beds. Poor water pressure. Stains on carpet. Smell of wet dog all throughout the building. Description didn’t say pets were allowed but saw numerous dogs in the building including one family letting their dog swim in the pool. Breakfast was disappointing too. Very short window of time to eat. Who stops breakfast at 9:00 on a weekend? Didn’t matter anyway. The food selection was slim and very poor quality. Should have gone to Marriott and spent $5 more.

Great hotel! The service was amazing and the room was really comfortable and clean. Even the breakfast was great for my family. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed one night for IU's graduation. We wish the price was lower, but we know why hotels jack it up on weekends like this. We do wish our rooms had been next to each other and that the bathroom's were a bit cleaner (hair on toilet and in shower). But the staff was fantastic and, given that this was a busy weekend, the place was quiet (a first for a Bloomington stop for us). If we still had a kid at IU, we'd be back.

The staff was very helpful. I stayed there, with 2 grandchildren, specifically to use the pool. We wanted to swim before checkout, but the pool was not ready 10AM. They got it functioning about 10: 30 and let use check out late so we could go swimming. Everyone was very helpful. The hotel was clean and very convenient.

Staff allowed unruly and loud guests . Resulting in a shouting match outside our room , at 2am … my children were terrified…. Our safety was not priority

For the price I paid, I felt I really could’ve done much better. I won’t be returning. The staff was helpful, but I was unimpressed. The couch in my room was stained, dressers scratched and gouged, the lamp shade was so beat up that when it turned on, the crinkles were illuminated and it looked like a child attacked it with a pen. The clock was off by hours, there were crumbs in all my drawers, passive aggressive anti-theft signage, and a gap under the door so big that i somehow accidentally slipped a rolled hand towel through it by accident trying to block the light and sound. None of this is anything that can be remedied by calling the front desk, so I was content to take it to my grave. BUT THEN, at 9:45, after breakfast (eggs so overcooked they were grey in spots, biscuits so hard it broke the prong off my plastic fork, no joke) I couldn’t get into my room. I called and they told me to come to the front desk. I wasn’t the only one; I informed another gentleman struggling with his door that he should probably follow me. They asked for my room number and re-coded my key. It didn’t work a second time. I came back down and got a new key and received an escort upstairs in case that didn’t work (good thinking, why didn’t we do that the first time). So much for my half hour nap after breakfast as planned. Other hotels are cheaper and nicer. Aaron and the female staff member who assisted me probably both need a raise, but I’d rather see them at an better hotel. DONT STAY HERE

We traveled with our dog and child. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms were very quiet. We were placed in a room next to several others traveling with dogs and you couldn’t hear anyone. The only negative was that there were people tent camping right next to the parking lot.

I was so impressed with this hotel! Persons working behind the desk were very welcoming and friendly. The pool was very clean and towels readily available. Everything in my room was nice. Everything was in excellent condition. Breakfast in the morning was very good. I noticed that staff was in the dining area, replenishing as needed, wiping counter areas and sweeping the floor. I have never seen this great service at any other hotel chain. My family live in Bloomington, I will definitely stay here again. In fact, I've already made a reservation for my April visit!

Great place to stay with family

Overall, great stay! Clean, comfy beds, plenty of space in the rooms. Pros: Aaron at check-in was a fantastic! Easy check-in, and very patient with our decision making when we realized the couch didn’t pull out into a bed. Breakfast was excellent and had plenty of choices. Cons: The couch doesn’t pull out into a bed so as a family of 5 we had to make it work. Luckily our oldest is 13 but if all 3 kids were teenagers, we would have needed 2 rooms. The bathroom was clean enough but could use a deep cleaning.
