Hilton Garden Inn Bloomington

We all had a wonderful restful time as a family! Thank you! But we apologize for the noisy kids

The pool was closed for renovations, and when traveling with kids who were looking forward to swimming- it would have been nice to have been notified via the website or email that the pool was closed.

This was a big weekend in the town of Bloomington. This is the weekend when most parents are there moving their kids into college. Note that this is one of the most expensive weekends in Bloomington. Despite that, the hotel did nothing to welcome the students and the families. We requested that the room be clean the next day but they didn't do it. Our coffee maker in the room was broken, we didn't have a shower mat, not enough towels, and the screaming fire alarm went off at 9:30 in the morning due to an issue in the kitchen. Furthermore, in the gym they didn't have any towels, no soap and no paper towels. They also needed to unclog the toilet in the gym. Hard to believe that this was a Hilton. I wish I didn't have to post these negative comments. Despite the above, we had an excellent weekend on campus!
