Hyatt Place Bloomington

Great place, close to everything, family friendly!

I got a hotel for my son's birthday, which is an annual ritual- but this was our first time at Hyatt Place. They were SO KIND. My son and his friends are super well-behaved kids, but any time we have done this in the past, other hotels have treated us poorly simply because they're kids. The staff at Hyatt Place was super kind and courteous to them. The room was clean and perfectly adequate for an overnighter. The boys especially loved the breakfast buffet in the morning, and I loved not having to figure out breakfast! Excellent stay. Will definitely stay again when we're in Indiana.

I liked the neighborhood. I liked The front desk people Mahogany and Nick and one cleaning lady Anila very kind and helpful Bloomington is a great town I loved the pizza at Che Bella’s Restaurant My mom loved Vegetarian pizza and the kids loved the pepperoni. Yum! The hotel is not very clean. You have to get your own towels. You have to ask for toilet paper and tissues. And the microwave is in the hallway near the elevators The cleaning service never cleans unless you call and ask for housekeeping a day in advance but they still don’t do much no vacuum they changed the sheets but the quilt was dirty with stains. The beds aren’t that comfy. Dusty rooms. The accessibility room was better more spacious because of the walk in shower. There is no view. The I door pool has rust all over and small no deck for sun bathers not a great stay too much work for the price

Great location for our family to meet. The area offers something for everyone to do. Bloomington is a wonderful town with a vibrant downtown. We had a wide choice of restaurants and shops. We found the hotel staff friendly, professional and accommodating. We will be back the next time we can return to Btown.
