Best Western Plus MidAmerica Hotel

My kids were really upset the pool was closed. I booked with you guys because they wanted to swim while we had our road trip.it was 95+ degrees and ended up having to find something to do to keep cool. We woke up and had some snack on the desk and everything was covered in ants. Other than that breakfast was good. Very friendly staff.

Unfortunately, there was a family next to us with a baby who cried for hours and hours in the middle of the night while we tried to sleep. We got only a couple hours of sleep our first night there. The front desk tried to intervene and ended up calling the police. Instead of moving that family, we moved rooms. We gave up our suite for a smaller room, but no compensation adjustment because it was through a third-party. So, on Thanksgiving day, we interrupted our plans with family and friends to return to the hotel to switch rooms. Lots of inconvenience! In the morning, I went down for breakfast, but was a couple minutes late. The staff member was removing the uneaten food. I asked if I could get some before she took it all out. She replied, “NO.” That was so rude, and unnecessary. Was the leftover food going to be thrown away? Was staff going to eat the food? Why wouldn’t you let hungry guests who are just a couple minutes late have the food? Maybe customer service training is in order.

We have a dog and a toddler. The breakfast was good. Coffee and juice was good. Like the laundry can be run from an app.

Good location away from the crowds. We come to visit family and prefer this hotel to ones in O'falllon which is more crowded. Amenities are good and comfortable. Breakfast service is also good and good selection. Staff is very accommodating if you need assistance. Dog friendly also.
