Best Western Troy Hotel

Our stay was great from start to finish As soon as I checked in I was greeted by Ashley she was amazing so friendly and made us feel at home.. She is such a hard worker definetly a gem to this hotel.. We stayed in the room w the bunk beds for my kids.. perfect for our family of 5.. It is an older hotel but we could tell they have updated it.. We have no complaints at all for our stay. If anything the water pressure wasnt the best and the stopper in the tub wouldnt let me fill up the Jacuzzi tub but wasnt a problem at all.. Breakfast was perfect every morning Hot eggs sausage biscuits and gravy oatmeal cereal toast bagels definitely saved us money when we could get a hot breakfast every morning We swam everynight pool is on the smaller side but we enjoyed it every evening w hours until 10.. Every staff member we came in contact w were so friendly and helpful.. Ashley for sure struck us as the best.. She is definitely an asset to this hotel.. We would definitely return if we come back to the area

This hotel is outdated but well taken care of. Nice small pool my kids enjoyed. Easy check out and friendly workers

The staff was amazing, but the hotel itself is dated. We stayed in a family bunk room which gave us plenty of room and the bunk beds were fun for the kids. The pool was also in working order and good enough for the kids, but again, the pool room showed its age. Breakfast wasn’t anything special, but had enough to fulfill our needs. The staff did a great job of keeping the food stocked while there was a large surge of people. I’d be giving it a much worse review if the staff were unresponsive, but they tried their best to make our stay a good one.

We were taveling in blowing snow all afternoon - what a warm, clean, easy access place to stay! There was a family in the pool laughing, and our room on the 3rd floor was warm and roomy! We had a nice breakfast first thing in the morning. Very happy with our stay!

Best western was awesome the best hotel in Troy. I’ve always wanted to go to this hotel when I was a child and now it’s a reality! Love this place and I love Troy

One of our rooms had bed bugs. When the front desk person was told there was no apology and no affect on his face at all. They comped the room for one night, but then we had to pay for the other room they offered. In my opinion, they should have comped the entire stay. The refrigerator in the breakfast area was not working and when we told the front desk person... She denied it at first until I proved that the outlet behind the fridge was not working. They never replaced the yogurt, milk, or cream cheese that had become warm. We were there 3 days and nights and our room was not serviced once. People on our floor had put trash in the hallway and it was never picked up. The pool deck is very slippery, and we watched several kids fall.

Our family was visiting St. Louis with another family. Even though the rate was reasonable, there were a few concerns. Our room was clean enough, but our friends' room had bed bugs. They were given a different room and were compensated one night's stay; I thought they should have had the entire stay comped! Secondly, one evening, we down in the swimming pool area which is next to the breakfast area and we noticed that small refrigerator which held milk, yogurt, cream cheese, and butter was not running. All the items inside were warm. When we alerted the attendant, she plugged the fridge into a different outlet and it came back on, but she did not take any of the items out of the fridge, just left them there to serve for breakfast in the morning. We felt this was a major food-safety issue. Also, I only saw one housekeeper working the entire 3-night stay. We did not have our room serviced once the entire time. And there were trash bags sitting out in the hallways from people's rooms that sat there for days in a row. Our family will stay elsewhere when we visit St. Louis in the future.

3 members of my family ate the sausage patties for breakfast from there and got sick from them with food poisoning
