Drury Inn & Suites St. Louis Fairview Heights

Pros: Friendly staff at check in and beds were clean. Breakfast was good. Cons: Hotel is dated and smelled of chlorine and marijuana. The floors in the hotel room were dirty, the bath/shower was dirty, the peep hole in the door had grease or something all around it. We were traveling with kids so waking up at 3am with an intense smell of weed wasn’t enjoyable. The floors in the elevator were constantly wet from people coming from the pool. There were people outside the hotel yelling and screaming. Overall we would not stay here again. I thoroughly checked the beds and thankfully they were clean; if they weren’t we would have left but we were only staying for one night during a road trip and we got in late so we just wanted to get some rest.

We stayed in a queen suite and the room was phenomenal. We had our two kiddos with us and they loved the room and the privacy from mom and dad!! The staff were friendly the price for the room was reasonable. Will be staying there again.

Hotel is definitely family friendly! The staff were exceptional, always smiling and asking if we needed anything. Housekeeping kept our towels stocked and garbage emptied daily. Breakfast was delicious, and the 5:30 kickback was a huge money saver while staying with kids as we only had to dine out once per day. They also loved the free popcorn and soda! The location is close to tons of shopping and the drive to St.Louis was short and easy. We would definitely come back.

I can’t say enough about the courteous staff at this place. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay. I’ve been staying at Drury’s for years and have always enjoyed the 5:30 kickbacks. This place served a full meal! What a nice benefit for traveling families.

Drury Inns are our favorite hotels to stay at. They are a slightly more pricey than other options, but the hotel is clean, staff is friendly, and it's a great option for families. We chose this one because it was cheaper than the other Drury hotels within St. Louis, but it was still 10 away from the Arch. And like all Drury hotels, they have a free evening "kickback" that includes 3 free alcoholic drinks per adult and a small buffet with soup, salads, hot dogs, nachos, and a changing menu of foods like baked potatoes, pasta, sliders, and more. Plus free breakfasts. This trip was a little noisy because there were so many families on spring break, but honestly it wasn't terrible. And they allow pets for a small fee.

The only issue was that there was a peewee soccer tournament and the kids dominated the pool and made a lot of noise in the hallways abd during meals. That isn't the hotel's fault, however. On behalf of my mother, she didn't care for the TV service. There was no guide so she couldn't see what shows were playing. Overall, it was a nice experience and the staff was very friendly. Checkin and checkout was a breeze.

Love the dinner offered, very helpful with families with kids who just wanna get in the hotel and stay without having to leave for dinner again.
