Holiday Inn Express Troy, an IHG Hotel

Stayed here for the weekend with my fam3f8r my daughters dance competition in st louis. It was a great hotel. Easy to find. Breakfast both days was great. The kids loved the pool. Room was clean and very welcoming. Woukd definitely recommend/ stsy again.

Upon arrival staff was awkward & didn’t give us the information all hotels typically share like where the pool is, Wi-Fi password, where and what time breakfast was, etc. Once checked in we went to the room & had to go back down to request sheets and pillows for the pullout bed because there wasn’t anything in the room for that. There were white stains all over the couch as well. Once settled in we found the pool & the kids did enjoy that. The next morning the breakfast was good, good options. My husband did ask for a late checkout & staff acted really angry that he even asked for an extra hour. All in all it was an okay stay and provided what we needed but I would look elsewhere if needing to stay in the area again.

I really enjoyed our stay. We are driving from Oklahoma to CT and made a stop in Troy. The young man at the front desk when we arrived that evening was a breath of fresh air to my spouse and me, as we just had a death in our family. We hadn't had much joy the last couple of days so the staff being so friendly, kind and with a great attitude was very nice for our journey. We will definitely be back likely every year. Thank you for bringing some joy to our trip.

Clean rooms, kids loved the pool. Restaurants and gas near buy.

Friendly and helpful service, good condition of hotel, beautiful surroundings, even used the workout room and pool (both of which were in good shape overall). Great value for our family of six.

This time there were children in the room above us. From about 7 pm they were running & jumping, & the noise was terrible. Finally, at 10 pm, I phoned the front desk. The young woman said she'd call the room. By 1030, the noise stopped. Unfortunately, I was so agitated, I didn't manage sleep until the early morning hours. Around 7 am, the noise started again. I called the front desk & had to actually tell the woman who answered that we needed her to call them. She sounded annoyed at the thought. 730 the noise stopped. 830 it started again. We left, knowing that our $ was not going to be returned. We won't be staying there again.

The TV in our particular room was broken. They were nice and said they provided a discount because of it. The bathroom in our hotel room was not clean. There were feces on and behind the flushing handle of the toilet. Thankfully we brought our own Clorox wipes and Lysol because it did not feel clean at all after that. The kids opened up the table and inside was trash from McDonald’s. Obviously from a previous guest.
