Worked fine for our family of 8. Three queen beds was a great feature of our room. Very spacious. Staff had a hard time communicating due to language barriers. Pool was chilly but everything was clean.

I booked a large suite for my daughter's wedding prep, proud to support a local business. They would not work with me to do a late check-out (even offering to pay for the extra time) based on the time of the wedding. Instead said I had to reserve for another night, or my daughter had to leave the hotel at noon in her dress for a 3:30 wedding. We could not check in early for a Saturday reservation, OR check-out late with a Friday reservation. (He actually said someone else "wanted" the room after us if we didn't reserve it for the second night. ?????) Over $500 to use a room from 12 to 3:30. When we opened the door the suite was sweltering. As a "large" suite there were two AC units. However, only one worked at check-in. We inquired, and were told the one that worked was the new one, to replace the one that wasn't working and it should cool the room adequately (temps of 96+). Clearly one does not leave a non-functional unit in the wall and create an opening for a new unit. Thank God my daughter inspected further and found a thermostat for the "non-functioning" unit behind curtains across the room. The front desk (family of owner?) did not know this about one of the most expensive rooms in the building?? I am clearly diaappointed in customer service on many levels. In the past I have arranged for stays for my beloved out-of-town visitors here. After my own personal experience here, I will not ask my loved ones to stay here, or spend my own money to support a stay here.

I wasn’t going to complain when they put us in a king bed room (even though I called and rebooked - and paid extra for - 2 queen beds through Expedia) but the toilet wasn’t flushing. So I thought I could get the right room and a toilet that worked. He said he showed record of a king and he couldn’t change my room since I booked through Expedia and he could get me a plunger. I showed him my Expedia app with the 2 beds and he said he had to go by what they have in their system and he could get me a plunger. (It was a tank issue, not a clog issue but that’s really beside the point). After an hour and getting Expedia representative and a family member it was finally taken care and they moved us to a room with two queens and a working toilet. There were several other things that were below satisfactory but they pale in comparison to that experience. He was belligerent and condescending.

We checked in and the women who checked us in told us our room number very loudly so that other people in the lobby know what room we were in. The lobby was nearly devoid of furniture. The room was ok. The sink leaked in both of our rooms and carpet in the room was not very clean. There were very pungent food odors in the hotel as well. The elevator certificate expired it March 2024 and we stayed in July 2024. The glass surround for the pool was very dirty. It seems a family run business run on too small a budget. I
