La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bannockburn-Deerfield

Thank you to La Quinta for honoring Navy Recruits and their families. There were several families there attending the Navy Boot Camp Graduation. The hotel just off. I-94, quiet is a quick <15 min drive to the base, Exchange and Sarge’s Meet & Greet, which is a MUST ATTEND!!!

This hotel is newly renovated. The family that runs the hotel do a wonderful job. The staff is accomodating and make you feel at home. The hotel is very clean and quiet. It is a great location. My favorite place to stay.

The stay was horrible the breakfast area was unclean. Kids were everywhere not monitored during breakfast. The bed was uncomfortable the microwave plate was missing. The hotel was noisy the elevator that was close had been out for months. It smelled old and the carpet was nasty. i hurt my foot on the cracked tub. changed rooms and the tub waa still cracked carpet stunk. The breakfast was cheap cold and the fruit was slimy kids were touching and breathing all over the muffins before getting one. This was a horrible experience i would not recommend staying here unless you dont care and looking for a quick place to sleep. Dont know what type of detergent was used to clean the bedding but it had me itching for the 3 days i was there. house keeping were rude and not in uniform as if they came off the street. Would not stay here again needs an upgrade. i saw trash that was supposed to be taken out piled up fans cooling the cooling systems just no.

Excellent place for family and pets

We travel back home to Chicago often and this is one of the hotels we prefer. It's quiet and clean and right off I94. We arrived 90 minutes before check in time. When we asked if we could check in early we were told it would $50 extra. Usually it's a yes or no on checking in early, with that usually being predicated on whether the room was actually ready. I was taken aback somewhat by the upselling. I guess it's now the norm? The hot tub was out of commission and their continental breakfast only has waffles, fruit, cereal etc...No eggs or other hot food. Hot tub was out of commission. The property on the outside shows a lot of wear. We weren't supplied with any bar soap and only had decaf coffee in the room. The smoke detector was missing from the room, with the wiring hanging down from the ceiling above the bed. These are mostly small items that wouldn't bother me if the room was $99.00, but for two beds and a family of 4 we paid $143. Things need to be tightened up for that price point.

We always stay here when we visit family in Chicago. Spacious rooms, great breakfast, and it’s in a great area. Very family-friendly!

We had a great time on property. Very family friendly, great pool, and quite neighborhood. Close to plenty of restaurants and easy access. Rooms are spacious and exceedingly clean. Going to return this weekend.

Hotel overall very clean! Very happy with our stay. Especially traveling with a child and dog. They made it easy. Room was very nice. Bathroom shower in need of some TLC. Nice location right off highway. Restaurants not too far away, but needed to look in to figure it out. No signage from highway exit.
