Staybridge Suites, Lincolnshire, an IHG Hotel

VERY DISSATISFIED!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Our room wasnt ready when we checked in, was told we could wait in the lobby while housekeeping finished. It took OVER AN HOUR to get into our room. But dont worry, thet brought us each a bottle of aquafina and a bag of chips, to go along with the complimentary coffee left from breakfast. THEN...Our toilet didnt flush. Went to the front desk to tell them and they handed me a PLUNGER!!! THEN when we went to pull out the bed for the kids we were disgusted to find what looked like white stains from bodily fluids on the cushions. I took pictures, but conveniently, it wont let me add any pictures to my review. Needless to say, I was repulsed by the entire experience.

We could not use the pool. The chemicals were not balanced.It made my children and other children cough. We were forced to leave.Breakfast on Monday morning was a disaster. We arrived at 8:55. Eggs,sausage,potatoes,bagels,bread,cottage cheese, muffins,canned fruit,walnuts all depleted. I asked the team member to replenish. He brought out a few serving of eggs 10 minutes later. He did not replenish anything else. Other guests were complaining too.Breakfast ended at 9:30. Why would so many items not be available? Hotel was clean. The agent that the front desk in the evening was very nice . A blanket was not supplied for the sleeper sofa. The front desk said they were out of blankets on Saturday night. I was able to get the last blanket Sunday night. The guest behind me asked for a blanket but did not receive one. We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and had a pleasant experience. It was not a good experience this time.

We were initially given a room that was stripped of all the bedding like someone started to clean it but didn’t finish. When we were given another room it was okay but there wasn’t any extra pillows and there was old coffee still in the sink. Either someone doesn’t pay their housekeeping staff enough to care or they don’t give them enough time to really clean. The breakfast was great though and you can’t beat the price. Everyone was really friendly and even though it wasn’t as high class as I thought it was going to be it was still super charming and a great place for our family vacation. Far enough away from Chicago to be able to sleep well but close enough to get to all the awesome activities in the Chicago area.

My stay was great. Me and the kids really enjoyed ourselves.

For the property to be pet friendly they were extremely clean! Our room was spacious for our whole party and they even had dog stations for pet owners! First time being at a pet friendly hotel and I will say I definitely will be returning! The front desk staff was also very accommodating with extra sheets and pillows and me and my family were very happy with our stay!

I got the 2 bedroom suite and everything was great!! The night was staff friendly. The kids loved the pool. The breakfast was good.

Another excellent say at this property. My children and I felt very comfortable. The breakfasts were hot and well stocked. The hotel itself was very clean and extremely comfortable. My children loved the pool. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only things that I noticed were a loose faucet which did not affect our stay and I was thanked by staff for bringing that to their attention. I appreciated their attention to the needs of the property.

We got to the property and the manager was pleasant and kind. She upgraded us immediately and we were so surprised and pleased when we saw the room!!! We throughly enjoyed our stay and we’ll be back to visit with the family soon!!!!

I got the 2 bedroom suite, and it was so nice. So much space and just really made my little family feel so at home. Breakfast was great too.

The pictures when booking look great but ones there the furniture is very worn out. Couches were disgusting. Felt extremely uncomfortable. Having my kids there was upsetting and I didn’t want them sitting or laying around in the furniture. :( the only thing the staff did to help was 1. look at another room which was worse! 2. brought blankets to put over couches. Super dissatisfying and disappointing
