If you’re looking for a really nice place to stay that’s also incredibly convenient for getting around the loop, as well as River North, this is the one! Not to mention if you’re in town to see a show, all you have to do is step outside and all the theaters are right there. Staff is friendly and the lobby and game rooms provided some quiet places to spend with my family.

Nicely renovated city sized room. Bathroom was so nice! Happy hour pricing AOK. $6 lemon drop martini? Yum. Lobby on 9 takes some getting used to. Elevator lobby at street level is not especially secure and we had an icky urban teenager experience after theater with a dozen kids trying to get upstairs on our key card. Calling a cab also complicated. Can’t beat this location for a theater-centric Chicago visit.

Went to a show right next door at the Nederlander Theater. This was perfect!!! Parked right nearby for $25 and totally walkable to everything we wanted. Great size room, comfortable beds, worked perfectly for my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 late teens). Totally recommend!

I loved the ambiance of the hotel and the close proximity to everything needed for my vacation with family. The staff at the Cambria were friendly and welcoming. Our room was cozy and made for a relaxing stay.

My family and I loved Chicago but the staff at this hotel were everything but hospitable. Made every excuse not to clean our room (which wasn’t the end of the world), but when we asked for new towels and toilet paper the receptionist was extremely rude. The welcoming wasn’t much different. If you can stay elsewhere do so… The location was great.

The room was excellent, clean, and comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect for anyone going to see a show and there were so many good options for dinner and dining in general. The only problem was that the windows are not well insulated and therefore we heard everything going on outside. We were on the 6th floor so that might have something to do with it but we could easily hear the people on the streets, cars, and unfortunately sirens at 2 AM. I will definitely stay here again with my husband but not with a child again due to the noises.

If you’re looking for a good hotel in the theater district this one is for you! We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly staff and contemporary furnishings. Our children enjoyed their time there as well but we would say it caters more toward adults. Great location and close proximity to a lot of the city’s attractions and shopping.

Close to some shopping, parking was around the corner, we were going to the christkindl market which was just across from here. Hotel is clean, up to date, it’s not really small children friendly due to the bathroom door being “barn” style with the glass opaque windows and no way to keep kids from playing with it. The shower is not kid friendly since it is see through glass and doesn’t have a door, it’s open to the bathroom. If it were just adults it’s a great place to stay.

My family and I arrived earlier then expected and our check in time was for 4p.m. Cambria staff was able to check us in and got us a room right away. Mariellia was such a lovely soul through out the whole process. She got us directions to The University of Chicago and spoke to my daughter about some of her friends experience there and how she would enjoy the university when she’s enrolled. She made us feel welcome and engaged with us a lot. This was my second stay @cambriahotel and will always be my hotel every time I visit Chicago!
