My clients and I stayed here on what just happened to be Lollapalooza weekend which was so fun. There's a variety of guests, including families. The staff seems to be a bit young and untrained, or perhaps they're just casual - in dress and also service level. Wifi in the lobby was spotty, which is always frustrating. However, the amenities were thoughtful. The umbrella and robe were fun additions. Housekeeping was great. For the price I really wanted it to be closer to perfect. With a bit more training of the staff, I think it will be.

My family and I stay there whenever we visit Chicago. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The staff are very friendly and nice.

Everything about the Kimpton exceeded our expectations. My kids especially enjoyed the window seats in our river view room. Antonio was outside every day to greet us and is so very friendly and kind. We happened to visit on Mexican Independence Day weekend that literally shut down the city on Saturday night which presneted some challenges, but Kimpton employees made everyone feel safe.

I can't say enough about the staff and hotel. Everyone was happy and attentive. The hotel was very clean and it had a welcoming vibe from the Front Desk, Bellhop, Dining Staff, Cleaning Staff and others. Everyone was helpful, kind, and professional. The hotel was well taking care of and had everything we needed. Kudos to all employees. They truly love their job. Very, Very happy with your management and cleanliness. The food was awesome. It was hot and delicious. I'm definitely coming back and will let our family and friends know how wonderful your hotel really is.

Great room with window ledge to take in the view of the Chicago river and surrounding buildings! Very unique and highly recommended if you have young kids. Walking score is great! An overlooked but necessary perk in my opinion is the awesome and friendly staff!

Beautiful hotel in a very convenient location. Beds were super comfy, even for a family of 4. Loved the river view room. Coffee was also good and free happy hour was much appreciated.

The Hot Cocoa from 2-4 in the winter takes the chilly edge off right away. Staff is amazing and knew our dogs names right away. They even knew which of us went to which doggie and room. I love their attention to clients and the wine/spiced cider treats from 5-6 PM. I can't remember ever opening a door, they were always on the lookout for coming and goings. Fabulous rooms with seats enough for family to visit in each others rooms and to top it all off a HUGE window seat (4 foot by 6 foot) that looked straight down to the lights and street. Our only problem was the toddler we were with kept pulling up his shirt showing his tummy to people down on the street when we had him sit with us in the window. Love this place....come here at least 4-5 times a year.
