My family visited Casey for an early family Christmas and needed more room than family members could handle. Eighteen ninety sleep over was perfect. Right downtown with plenty to see and do.

Everything was very clean! It is old but updated. Our grandkids loved the loft. We had plenty of room. I thought it was nice to stay somewhere that was unique. We were within walking distance to everything. This was a fun trip!

This is a really cool converted old building! Lots of charm! NOT accessible to people who can’t do stairs, but, man, does it make up for it! Our grandkids loved the loft and daybed for their sleeping quarters and couldn’t decide to fight over who slept up in the loft or who slept in the daybed! Just a really unique experience and a wonderful break from hotel rooms that look the same, one after another.

Unfortunately though I wanted to love it, I did not when a great experience. The hotel is cute, the room was clean and it was roomier than a typical hotel room. It is def NOT kid friendly though. It’s a very old hotel and sound travels. My kids were not even being rowdy but had complaints about being too noisy at 6 in the evening. If it had been 10 pm and the kids were being crazy I would understand complaints. We ended up feeling unwelcome and had to leave our room, that we paid for, to take the kids to a nearby park in the dark. Overall, not at all a great place for families.

The room was like no other. I booked this for a getaway with my wife, but the room could have easily accommodated a family of 6. The room has a wonderful combination of a rustic, historical building, and a beautiful room with loft that is designed in a way that does not take away from the ambiance. Check in was different from your usual hotel check-in, as they texted me the door codes for the room and I checked out by text. I do have to say that privacy is less than your traditional room, as the adjoining room (with adjoining door) had a big gap along the hardwood floor, which allowed me to hear conversations from the other room. The wall behind also had enough of a seam where sound could also travel. Not being big noisemakers, they hopefully had little to complain about. For those that go to Casey that are on a scavenger hunt for the World's Largest items, this is a great place to stay. You are literally surrounded by those attractions! Complementary coffee on each floor and free wifi as well. No breakfast, but we did get a voucher for breakfast, and the dining was so affordable, it nearly paid for everything. For the Casey tourist, I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Staff was very nice. Room was very nice and tastefully decorated. Location to sights and places to eat was great. Only a couple minor things I wish had been different. No thermostat in the room but a fan was provided. Room did stay comfortable with the fan. There was no hair dryer in the bathroom but there was several we found in the hall where the coffee maker was at. The bed was comfy at first but your body would sink into a hole. Both my wife and I had tired backs after night 2. Lastly our room was next to the stairs and we had a family come in late at night and stayed on the 3rd floor above us. Stairs are kinda noisy and it sounded like they were moving furniture till 1:30 am. Got to remember this building is very old. In the brick cracks of the walls, we found notes from many of past guests. Loved this touch. Still I would stay again but in a different room.
