Homewood Suites by Hilton Boise

Overall this was a good experience, besides a few small things that could be improved. Let's start with the negatives: The check in left me a little unhappy and not a good start. An older man and super young girl checked me in. He didn't smile once and She seemed very new and following his lead. A hilton property should come with a friendly welcome. Don't be in customer service if you can't even fake a smile for customers. The breakfast was one of the worst. Very fake eggs, soggy potatoes, stale bread. I would skip eating here. The tub could use some more cleaning around the water spout and the conditioner dispenser was broken and set on the edge. The pool being 24 hours is cool, but also not in the sense that there is constantly children in the hot tub and adults cannot relax. There should be a time for children to leave and adults only or no kids in the hot tub. The positive: the rooms are extremely spacious. The property feels safe and secure. A full kitchinette with pans and dishes and a full fridge. The AC stays on and makes noise which was nice to drown out the footsteps above me. One of the light bulbs was flickering in the kitchen when I arrived and maintenance was quick to fix it. The room are dark, which I loved and was great for sleeping in. The area feels safe. The boise spectrum area with food and movies very close by. This location is central to most things in Boise including downtown and the airport and under 15 mins from the village in meridian.

This is our first time staying at this hotel, while visiting family. I was surprised at the value for what you get! A king sized room with separate living room, an almost- full sized kitchen (full size fridge, dishwasher, two stoves, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker), just not oven. It was great! The hot tub and pool were open 24 hours which is a huge plus. The pool was on the colder side— ok for the kids but not for me! Haha. The breakfast was actually pretty good. We will likely stay here again!

I wanted to relax in the spa but it was packed with children. And I was too tired to go back after dinner.

We got back to the hotel late from an event so our family went for a night swim in the pool, they were out of pool towels and our room was out of clean towels too so we went to the front desk to ask for clean towels. The lady was extremely rude and remarked how she was too busy with other things to get us towels. She even used the F word in front of my 10 ur old son. There were about 4 other groups of people who also asked for towels and were given the same response. Prob the worst service we’ve had. The breakfast crew looks extremely unhappy as well. Our room felt dirty and the pool had sand at the bottom of it. Would not recommend this hotel!

The suite was perfect for my family of 7. Will definitely stay here again, only complaint is that the hot tub was broken, bubbles didn’t work and the water was lukewarm. My children didn’t mind however and loved the pool.

Very nice hotel for a family. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and very clean. They have a nice pool and a good breakfast.

Arrived to find out pool and hot tub out of order. Sounded like it had been out for a week or so. Main reason we stayed there was so the kids could swim.

We specificity booked this hotel for the pool and hot tub which were both apparently broken. There was garbage and food around the bottom of the bed. And the parking directly in front of the hotel is not permitted as hotel parking. We had an offer of another room for $79/night but chose to stay here for the pool for our kids. Wasted a bunch of money. It is a really convenient location though and they have a nice breakfast.
