La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Boise Towne Square

The stay at La Quinta was good up until I left. It was a decent hotel for the price, staff was friendly, and the breakfast options were adequate. I was in town to visit an ill family member, so I was only at the hotel long enough to sleep each night and take a shower. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but it did okay. The shower curtain wasn't big enough for the shower, so there was always water on the bathroom floor to be cleaned up after my showers. I was perfectly fine with my stay until I reviewed my bank account a couple of days after check out and saw a $250 charge in addition to the room fee. When I called to inquire, the person at the front desk advised it was a smoking fee. I absolutely *did not* smoke in the room. I left my name and number for the manager so I could at least find out what gave them the impression that I did, and hopefully resolve the issue as that is a lot of money. I did not get a call back. I called again on another day, asking for an email address instead. The front desk person said, "Uhh...let me put you on hold," and then came back a few moments later stating they would just have to take my name and number again, they wouldn't give me an email address. So I left my name and number again, and still got no call back. I probably would have recommended this hotel until the extra charge for something I definitely did not do.

We stayed for two nights and the set up was great. The room had two beds in the main area and a separate “bedroom” with its own sink and tv. Worked great for our family of four (my parents, and me and my brother—we are too old to share a bed). Great location.

We loved the spaciousness of the room. We're a family of six and were very comfortable.

Nice clean rooms. Great continental breakfast. Located right next to the mall. Nice pool. Easy parking. Only issue we had is we had the family room and no door on the mommy and daddy room ;) Great stay. Would stay again.

This was a very good option to stay while visiting the family… as for location it is a bit off the path for being nearby - was a longer drive to get to things, except if you wanted to be by the mall. The accommodations was comfortable. Heard a fair bit of noise from rooms above or next to me, not voices, but walking and moving around. Wish the pillows had been better quality, but traveling in my own I could use all of them to give support. Probably won’t stay again because of distance to the rest of town.

it was near food option for our meeting with family

We stayed in a family suite (1K, 2Qs) from Thursday to Sunday while in town for a 3-day volleyball tournament. The room was spacious, having plenty of room for 4 girls and one adult, plus their bags and gear, to spread out in. The room had two sinks outside the bathroom --which was a huge help when getting the group ready in the morning. The beds, sheets, blankets, and pillows were not exceptionally comfortable--it was obvious that they had not been replaced in some time. The breakfast buffet included standard fare for hotel food. The pool and hot tub were clean and functioned properly. Make sure that you return the pool towels to the front desk or you will be charged $10/towel.

The deluxe family rooms with beds for the whole family! And lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Nice pool and breakfast! Great location!!

I love that the pool is 24 hours and kids aren't allowed in after 10pm. We did have some trouble with our TV. It kept freezing and the volume button on the remote did not work at all.

Minus the noisy baseball team staying above us, this was a perfect stay with my kids. Thanks La Quinta Staff!
