Holiday Inn Statesboro-University Area, an IHG Hotel

Sadly on 90 degree memorial holiday weekend in Georgia, the pool was not available. Major disappointment for our 4 families with kids!!!

Not much we liked about the property. The front desk staff was friendly enough but totally unhelpful. They couldn't even provide a box of tissues after housekeeping failed to replace an almost empty box. For a kid sick with a sinus infection and constantly blowing his nose, this was a problem. The hair dryer was broken. I didn't realize it until I went to use it in the morning. I took it down to the front desk and asked for a replacement to be brought up. I stood there as they called housekeeping. We waited an hour, and no one ever showed up. We finally checked out. The room next to ours had the TV on loudly ALL night long. That was fun. I'd strongly recommend finding another property to stay at if you ever go to Statesboro.

We visited the area to see family. The check in was fast and the clerk was very friendly. The check out was very easy and the same clerk checked us out. Very pleased with our stay here.

Very easy check in/out process, friendly staff, clean rooms. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

At arrival I was waiting at least 30-40 min tires for front desk. He saw me with my baby in my hand and told me he would be back in a moment. He assisted everyone else, and then after a while we caught eye contact again. He asked me was I checking in. I said yes. He said ok and walked off. Finally came back to check me in.

I stayed here for a solo family trip. The rooms were huge and super clean with great amenities. The service was top notch and breakfast was great. Will definitely stay again
