SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chattanooga South/Ringgold, GA

The hotel was very nice, updated and clean. The bed was comfortable and the reading lights over the bed were a plus. The sofa was not comfortable - too stiff and too large to sit back against the pillows without slouching - not a good thing for my age group with back issues. The lighting in the sitting area was poor - not enough to read by and the wattage was dull. There were no tissues in our room so my husband had to go to the desk to get some - which was fine. But there was also no extra roll of toilet tissue, no additional soap and no cups to make coffee with! Does the housekeeping staff not check this? Also, housekeeping did not visit our room until the day we were leaving - we stayed two nights - and then, she knocked twice in rapid fire progression then opened the door! We didn't have time to rise off the bed - thank goodness we weren't still in the bathroom. The breakfast area was nice and clean and the food options were the usual scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles plus various muffins and yogurt. I would definitely stay here again as it was convenient to our family, the interstate and eating establishments - and hope that the housekeeping issue was a one-off.

We had a quick nights sleep on a long road trip and this place fit the bill. Our family of 6 rolled in around 10:30pm asking if coffee would be ready between 4 and 5am. The friendly staff greeted us with big smiles, said coffee would be ready and promptly handed us our key to room. It was the fastest Checkin ever. The beds were so comfy and the room was great.

We stayed for a quick overnight and the kids were hoping and praying we could stay longer. Breakfast was great, room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Will definitely return!

Wonderful hotel with friendly staff, nice amenities, delicious breakfast choices, and spacious rooms. The only negative was the pool was closed when we visited due to repairs and the kids were disappointed but other than that it was a nice stay.

I like that there are 2 separate rooms and 2 tvs one for the kids and one for adults. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Pool was nice but small

We stayed in a double queen suite which also had a sofa to sleep on with a trundle bed. The room was spacious, and my kids were thrilled that they could each have their own bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with several options, and items were continually restocked. The indoor pool was nice for the kids. There were a few areas where housekeeping could improve, but overall it was clean. We felt safe and comfortable and would definitely stay again.

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The lobby was clean and beautifully decorated, giving a great first impression of the establishment. Our room was immaculate, and it truly felt like we were the first ones to ever stay there. The cleanliness was outstanding, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep for all of us. It was evident that the staff takes great pride in maintaining the rooms to such high standards. One of the highlights for our kids was definitely the pool. It was well-maintained, and they had an absolute blast swimming and playing there. The pool area was clean and provided a safe environment for them to enjoy. Additionally, the breakfast provided exceeded our expectations. There was a wide variety of options to choose from, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was the perfect way to start our day before heading out for our adventures. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the clean and comfortable rooms to the fantastic amenities like the pool and breakfast, our stay was nothing short of perfect. If you're looking for a place to stay that offers both quality and comfort, look no further than this establishment. We will definitely be returning on our next trip!

Overall this hotel was a great stay for traveling through or business in the area. The staff at check-in was awesome, great customer service and very helpful. The issue was the cleanliness of the room, there was white gunk on the couch and ottoman. The room clearly had kids before as there was food and small broken toys on the floor. The bathroom was very nice and the best super comfortable!

We booked this for one night on a 19 hour trip home. We had stayed in a couple Marriott branded hotels on the course of our trip and banked on that quality. Unfortunately, this location was a bit lacking. Nothing was so awful that we would leave but we were disappointed by small issues. For instance, the lock on the inside of our door was broken, no cover, and wires hanging out. Several other things were damaged as well, badic maintenance just wasn't being taken care of here. Breakfast was also lackluster compared to others we had visited and not kept up with restocking through breakfast. We will continue to use Marriott hotels but likely avoid this brand of their line. For families, I didn't take away stars but be aware of the room design here, very directed at single business travelers. The bathroom is enclosed but has no door on the toilet area and the frosted slider is in the middle of the wall. It is not a good space for a family to share while everyone is trying to get ready in the morning.

I stayed here on a trip back home from Florida with my three kids, all three under the age of 12. The rooms were excellent. Clean, and spacious. I couldn't believe how nice they were. My kids were in heaven and thought they were princes and princesses! The beds were definitely the most or one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I will definitely recommend this hotel to any friends or family and use for the future! I also really appreciate the key card only accessible side doors for parking on the side, the convenience of that when traveling with kids and having a bunch to haul is so appreciated!!!
