The remodeled hotel is beautiful, the room was beautiful, but everything else was horrible. Check in was a nightmare. Initially I blamed the negative experience on the shockingly rude guest in front of me, but in retrospect the staff member handling him (and me thereafter) should have been better trained to provide service despite adversity. The housekeeping staff repeatedly knocked on my door beginning af 8 am despite the fact that I had a do not disturb sign out. The amount of screaming children and families and the ability of the associated noise to transfer from the center atrium to every corner of the property make the older architectural design obsolete in this era of inadequate grace and manners.

It was a great trip. Only thing my children didn’t like was that there was not a microwave in the room. Other than that it was a great experience
