Holiday Inn Express Lake Park, an IHG Hotel

I like Holiday Inn hotels. This one was ok. Great breakfast options and it varies daily. I little crowded during our stay and people stayed in the pool so we didn’t get to use that amenity. Was quiet for the most part during our stay. On a scale of 1-10, I’d give it a 7. That’s because some families are just not mindful of the volume of their conversations moving up and down the hall. But that’s not the hotel’s fault. Overall I’d give the entire experience a 7. It stays crowded here…. Family vacation crowded. It’s my 2nd time staying here and it was the same way the first time. So if it’s just you… or you and a spouse, find somewhere quieter and a little less crowded. Especially if you want to enjoy your breakfast and/or the pool. Other than that, rooms were clean, everything worked, and once your in your room you’ll be fine.

Everything was excellent with no issues. Easy check in and check out. Great buffet breakfast, kids enjoyed it.

My husband and myself stayed at 7155 Lakes Boulevard in Lake park Ga. so that we could take our three grandkids…ages 4, 11, and 14 to Wild Adventures theme park. The location was spot on for us. When we arrived to the hotel, the clerk was very nice. We got an early check in and we took our things to the room and went to the theme park. Once we got back around 9pm…we showered and went to bed. The next morning we realized that after a very sleepless night of coughing and sneezing that we had a massive amount of mold in the AC unit, the sink was stopped up and we had no Wi-Fi or television. So we had a rough morning as well. If you’re looking for convenience and an easy way to wild adventures….this is your hotel. I’m not downing the hotel but it’s not as new as some has stated in previous comments. I travel A LOT and I would give this hotel two stars at the most.

Tristan (the front desk clerk) was the absolute best! Her personality is beyond amazing! She should be the poster child for Holiday Inn!

Easy check in/check out. Very friendly staff. Clean room/hotel. It was very accommodating for my family of 4 including 2 toddlers.

Pool was freezing, and was locked out do to card reader not working and screaming baby in the next room at 530-6am. Love the holiday inn facilities normally and great breakfast. Receptionist wasn’t friendly when checked in.

My family took a 3 day getaway to go to Wild Adventure and I must say the HIExpress was nothing short of a comfortable, welcoming, relaxing stay!!! When we arrived we were greeted by Joan. She was intentionally helpful as well as pleasant and held a great conversation! She also gave us a list of EVERY type of store/restaurant that may help our stay enjoyable. The room was modernized and very clean (as well as hallways and elevator). Great nights rest. Breakfast with Debbie was delightful. Her customer service was awesome. I have 3 boys and you can tell she has experienced all type of children. She checked on us periodically as well as making sure my boys ate. She said “Make sure the boys eat. I know some children don’t like EVERYTHING so if they don’t care for something definitely go back and try something else.” With my boys that wasn’t by far a problem for them!😂😂😂 The food was good and consistent! Our 2nd night we grabbed a small cake and we totally forgot a knife(later to find out I forgot more). I went to the from desk an spoke with Amanda. She give me a knife (disposable) and went above and beyond! She also offered me plates and napkins which I needed as well. And she didn’t make me feel like I was a bother. The pool was great as well! Plenty of clean towels and poolside was clean. I also met Dusti Who is apart of the housekeeping team. She asked how was my stay so far and asked if we needed anything. Check out was smooth. Con: Our trip too short.

The room we stayed in the floors was disgusting, bathroom wasn’t clean, we only had about 5 channels on the tv the other one wasn’t working. The heavy set lady at the front desk was very rude and not welcoming at all. Then check out day came and we went down for breakfast and only one elevator was working had to wait 10 mins to catch it. Then when check out came none of the elevators was working so I had to carry my family luggage plus other bags we got from stores down the stairs and we stayed on the 3rd floor. They also had a lady stuck in the elevator because the power went out. Very awful experience will never stay at this hotel again.

There were children running up and down the hallways at 10pm at night and being loud

Thankfully my kids brought bedding from home because we found the beds to be dirty and the carpet and couch had stains all over them
