Fantastic hotel! We will be staying here from now on when we come up for family. My uncle had a heart attack and we had to come up to Valdosta from Lakeland, FL. in an emergency. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rates were fair. The hotel is clean and has great amenities. The happy hour for guests and free breakfast made things so much better for us this trip.

We stayed one night. We had a king suite, which is 2 rooms, with a door separating the space. It allowed me to wake early, while mom slept. The bed was comfortable. The little fridge had a separate freezer!! (Which I really liked). Breakfast…well it was packed, for good reason… biscuits were delicious and the sausage gravy… well my mother liked them both and she usually doesn’t. The staff were full of southern charm and hospitality… and you could tell they were a team… I would certainly stay again! We make the drive up I-75 quite often. Dog friendly, beautiful courtyard where the pool is. I don’t have children, but the place was full of kids. There’s a theme park nearby, I guess. Well done!

We love this hotel & it’s actually the second time we have stayed here. This past time, I have to say I was a little freaked out and don’t think I’m going to stay at a hotel for a long time. After checking in, myself and my two young kids wait in the hotel room while my husband goes and gets our luggage’s. 2 minutes after he leaves- our door tries to open ( I had the safety latch at the top on, so it didn’t open all the way ). I look through the hole and there is a man standing at my door with a phone and keycard in his hand. He started knocking at the door. I called my husband and he said it wasn’t him at the door that he’s unloading bags still. I told him I know I see someone there and tell him to hurry. The person doesn’t stop and keeps knocking louder and louder. I tell this man that I can’t answer the doors right now. He said “well I have your key that was on the ground a few doors down” I asked how he knew it was mine and that’s when he admitted that he held it up to our door and opened it. Completely freaked out, I said I needed him to leave it by my door and leave. He looked very annoyed but threw it on the floor and left. I had my key & my husband had his key. I’m not sure how this random 3rd key opened our door or why someone was persistent on getting me to open the door and get it handed to us after already opening the door.. but it scared us very bad. Especially with two small children. Be aware of these situations at any hotel :/

Me and my husband were in Valdosta for my aunts Birthday. The hotel was great. It surprised me once I walked into the building. It was very clean and tge receptionist was very nice. The suite was very nice on the first floor and very spacious with a separate bedroom which was very big. The hotel breakfast was very good with hit grits, eggs, sausauge, biscuits and gravy, waffles, bagels and danishes. Every night they have away free beer and champagne with ice cream for the kids. This was my first time there and it won't be my last.

My family and I enjoyed our 2-night stay. The location is alongside the interstate, so it can get a little noisy, but there were plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distances. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff, especially the front desk clerk, Tyshawn was very helpful and nice! He went above and beyond for anything that we needed. Happy hour (beer, wine, snacks) was also a nice incentive along with the great breakfast selections. The pool and hot tub area was clean and relaxing as well. Overall, we would definitely stay there again!

The hotel is well situated right off the interstate and there are plenty of places to eat, some walkable. HOWEVER - after reading recent reviews and noting that renovations were taking place through September 2022, I called the hotel before making a non-refundable reservation. The woman who answered told me the renovations were still being completed, but they were only doing touchups at that point. That was completely untrue. They are still working the lobby, the stairs, and the hallways. Don't know about the guest rooms, but can state positively that I was put in a room that probably hasn't seen a renovation in 7-10 years. Doors were sticky, the bathroom gave the appearance of being clean, but I have my doubts. The paint (dark green) in the bathroom looked like a child did it. And worst of all, the entire room reeked of disinfectant, like Lysol or something similar. Which made it very hard to stay in the room or sleep. I stayed on December 22, 2022. The photos look like it's a modern hotel, but the rooms and hallways don't reflect that. The lobby looks good, though. And the ladies working the breakfast area were quite pleasant. They were the highlight of my stay.

All in all it was a good stay. We stayed on our way to Florida and on our way back. We have stayed here for years on our way back and forth to Florida, even when it was a different chain. It's always been a good clean stay with a really good breakfast. The problem now is that there are a lot of people smoking pot there. We believe in live and let live, but we don't want people buying, selling or smoking it around our kids. When we arrived we seen a guy in the parking lot selling to to a lady that pulled up. He apparently lives there in the hotel because he went back in. Later that night our a,c, in the room pulled in the smell so strong that it woke us up. Everytime we went in and out of the hotel it smelled so bad outside like it.....but,nobody ever bothered us ,we were comfortable, and the room was good. We'll stay again and hopefully things won't get any worse there than they are when it comes to what goes on.
