Hampton Inn Columbus / South - Fort Benning

I stayed for a graduation ceremony on base and the Hotel is right next door to the infantry museum so it was extremely convenient. Its just outside base gate also. Hotel was spotless excellent condition. Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. No complaints i would certainly stay there again.

Property is clean and nice! Also very convenient to the infantry museum if you’re attending graduation.

The staff was very nice. They were very apologetic when one of our rooms was not cleaned just yet which was no big deal. It was finished by the time we got our luggage in. The hotel was very clean , quite,and comfortable. Lots of military families were staying. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The entire staff was friendly seem to enjoy their job ! We were there for military graduation and they had cake to celebrate for soldiers and family ! Very clean breakfast good Abs always stocked coffee excellent

This hotel is very nice. It was super clean although it did have a strong sweet smell. You got used to it after a bit. It was fairly convenient to lots of restaurants within 2-10 miles especially close to exit 9-10 on 185. Super convenient to Ft. Benning. I mean, right there convenient. Great for the ceremonies at the Base. The breakfast was small. Limited pastries, plain bagels, cinnamon toast, good selection of cereals. Turkey sausage and scrambled eggs. The eggs were perfect. Very tasty, light and fluffy. The coffee was also good. I was disappointed because we had to cut our stay one night short for circumstances not in our control. We lost the funds for the night. Not happy about that. Costs are not on the cheaper side. More on the top of the scale for a probably 3.5 star establishment. Honestly, we will go back and stay but will check further for all the fine print. One last thing, It is right next to the Military museum. You need to make time for that. It takes a while but absolutely worth it. Our family was there for a base ceremony and the whole group went. It was great. We liked it very much. No cost but will accept small donations.

Staff were wonderful, always helpful and treated us like family. Grounds are beautiful and within walking distance of where we needed to go

Checking in was fast and easy, the front desk clerk was very nice and friendly. The rooms were great and very clean. Breakfast was included and the kids enjoyed it. At breakfast the staff encouraged the kids to eat all of their food and she gave them a treat afterwards. They truly enjoyed that and was so happy. So yes this Hotel is very kid friendly, which is a plus when traveling with smaller kids. We were in town for a wedding and this hotel was very convenient to the location of the wedding. The wedding was being held at The National Infantry Museum, which was walking distance to and from the hotel.

This is THE most excellent hotel. The staff are like family. I have never seen such commitment to service and quality. And talk about friendly. Everything about this hotel was excellent. The location, on Ft Benning ground, breakfast was delicious, beautiful area. I love it! Military family, This is the one if you are going down to visit your soldier!

This hotel is very accommodating to army family members. The made our stay very comfortable. Free breakfast was delicious. Staff was very warm and friendly. You can tell they love their job. In this day and age, it was a refreshing change to know that hospitality still exists.
