Hampton Inn & Suites Phenix City- Columbus Area

This hotel was one of the best we have stayed at as a family. The room was nice and cold upon arrival on a hot sunny day. The room & property were both clean. The staff was friendly and the breakfast bar had many of delicious choices to choose from. We would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Updated and clean. Front desk “blessed my heart” multiple times during my check-in. Walmart is about 2.5 miles away. Tricky entrance, but you get used to it. Great breakfast! Huge room for our family of 5- We booked the suite. Showers have good water pressure and shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion that smell super!

We have family in the area and visit 2-3 times a year and always stay here. What I love about our stays is the consistancy of service and cleanliness. The breakfast is ALWAYS tasty and the area is impecably clean. The Manager of this location, Amy, is personable AND works hard to insure your stay is comfortable.

I always stay at this Hampton Inn when I visit family in the area. I can count on its cleanliness, friendly staff and very comfortable bed. Their breakfast bar received a 100% rating from the health dept., a very hard accomplishment!

I had two stays at the Hampton in less than a month apart. After my first visit, I made sure I stayed there again when I came back to Columbus to attend my sons graduation. This hotel is about 10 mikes from Ft Benning and they cater to military families! The hotel is beautiful,clean, quiet and the staff is amazing!

We stayed at this hotel twice within a month as our son was in basic training at Fort Benning and we took advantage of spending time with him on his 36 hour pass at the end of first 9 weeks, and then we followed up with another stay for his graduation following five weeks later. Both stays were wonderful. Hotel staff were very accommodating, rooms were comfortable, clean, spacious. At our second visit, there was a reception for two evenings (Thursday and Friday) in anticipation of all the families that were coming in for graduation, which included wine, soda, cheese, and light snacks -- very welcome after traveling all day long and not wanting to have to go out to find some place for dinner. The breakfast in the morning was good as well, with plenty of selection. If you couldn't find something to eat, you're a very pick eater indeed. My spouse especially enjoyed the 24-hour round the clock coffee being available, although there was a coffee maker in the rooms. Our last evening there we enjoyed pizza around a table poolside, although we didn't use the pool and hot tub ourselves. Appeared to be clean and those in it seemed to be using it. I would recommend this hotel for anyone, but especially for those with a family member who has ties to Fort Benning -- whether it be for a graduation ceremony, leave pass, or any other business you may have on base. Base is only ten minutes away, very easy to find from the hotel, and staff have printed directions that they will give you, along with other directions to other attractions, places that you may need to do business with in the area.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel with my family. The pool was great. The room was neatly decorated and clean. I will definitely stay here again when I am in town.

Great customer service from the front desk to the breakfast service. Employees were highly professional, kind, welcoming, helpful, and looked like they enjoyed their job. Pets welcomed. Great water pressure. Only poor parts were a lack of supplies; there were no available trash bags and they didn’t want to give enough shampoo and conditioner for our family of 5.
