Residence Inn by Marriott Daytona Beach Oceanfront

First time to Daytona Beach in five years. Nice hotel. The suites are spacious for a family of four. Good breakfast options. The sea wall and balconies need some paint but overall it’s a nice hotel.

Fun family stay

Tried to down grade are 2 bedroom suite to a one bedroom suite because we had less people coming and it said it was available to do so and then once I tried to do so it said It wasn't available even know it was..I had an issue with credit card fraud not related thru Expedia but I had to get a new credit card number from when I made the original transaction and tried to explain this to Expedia and they weren't able to help so even if I had gotten a refund for my room it would have gone to a card that doesn't exist anymore and wouldn't have been able to go on my trip..as far as the hotel I've never had to pay to park everyday that I was staying there so after I paid almost 2k for my stay they added another 80 to park my car for 5 days..crazy..besides that everything was pretty good..carpet in are suite was fraying at all the edges are refrigerator looked like it was shoot with a bb gun about 50 times.. but we did have a great time and my kids had fun that's what was important..a couple staff member stuck out for the good and a couple for not being very helpful..over all it was an average stay at a hotel..and most of my issues were with exxpedia service

Spring Break 2024!! We had a great family trip!! Breakfast was included- great food- great ocean views- staff was accommodating and friendly!

Check in was really easy and friendly, and the hotel was easy to get to and park. We brought 3 kids and reserved a double queen suit, which was perfect. Between the full kitchenette and complimentary breakfast, we didn't spend hardly anything on food, which is usually one of our biggest expenses, after a quick stop at the grocery store just down the street. The kids played in the waves and sand all morning, and played in the pool all afternoon. The wife and I spent a lot of time in the hot tub, which was huge. The hotel was quiet at night, and everything was very clean. The hotel staff was super nice, everyone you saw smiled at us and greeted us. Will come back!

I usually stay with Residence Inn but normally rent the junior suite. We rented studio suite this time by mistake , Obviously smaller & could not upgrade because of 3rd party booking. Older hotel & needs some renovations. Was doable for 2 night stay. Nice pool area but complimentary breakfast was cold first day

Recommend the stay with family

We had a family emergency while staying at the property. The staff has been absolutely wonderful helping us and accommodating our need to stay several more night.

We are family of 5 (3 small kids) the sofa bed had pee smell and we didnt used it we didn't want to replace a room because it was late so we squeezed into the 2 queen beds In the toilet there was signs of the last person that poop there ... And the overal cleaning was really poor

The hotel was beautiful, the suite was amazing. I traveled with my family so the full kitchen was awesome and everyone had a bed to sleep in. Also the balcony was a plus, we had a partial view of the ocean. The only thing I did not like was that the A/C stopped working the 2nd day of our trip, it was EXTREMELY HOT!!! Very uncomfortable. Our stay was roughly $800.00 and there was no excuse for this nice of a hotel to not have working A/C in July.
