The place is an older place. Located on the ocean. Probably a great place for family. The price was very reasonable for our stay.

I'm giving 5 stars because I had a fantastic experience. Here are the reasons: Cleanliness: Honestly, not the cleanest exterior but the room was fantastic. Clean beds. Clean bathrooms. Balcony was perfect. Staff and Service: the front desk staff were amazing. Honestly, it was so nice to not feel intimidated going into a checkin experience. There was an issue with our Expedia booking and they were soooo cool about it and helped us out! They were friendly, chatty and down to earth. Property and conditions: I've been coming here since I was a kid and the place still looks the same. I'm now 30. HOWEVER, I find comfort in this and honestly think it's the greatest. The staff seem to really love their jobs and that makes up for everything else for me! Around the area: the location is just fantastic. The beach is perfect, safe and they are central to EVERYTHING you could want. If you book here knowing you'll meet amazing staff and have a great time at the beach and chilling in their pools or sipping drinks from the little cantina/bar area, you'll be in the right place. Just don't go in expecting an updated, $500 per night stuffy hotel and you'll have an amazing time. Would definitely go back <3

The hotel was nice, not amazing. It has a little age, but the amenities were good, especially for kids.

On a family trip the office smelled like weed their were stains on the pillow cases. It looked like an extended stay for homeless people.. and Roaches were near the pool area. The pictures on the website don’t look like it in real life it says the water slide is up and running and isn’t

I have been staying here for over a decade. It is a great place to bring your family. They have a indoor and outdoor pool. Currently the outdoor pool is being redone due to damage from the last hurricane. They have plenty of outdoor seating to lounge around in the sun. They have a small place to get breakfast and lunch that is poolside. They also have daily activities like a coffee club, bingo, and other activities for the kids. There is also a game room and playground.

My family of four stayed one night, and I was pleased with our accommodations! The front desk staff was extremely friendly and welcoming! The indoor pool was heated, and very cute! Beach access and the restaurant on the property make it convenient to enjoy the ocean without having to walk miles away to find food. The rooms are equipped with a small kitchen, which is great and they are very clean! The outdoor pool and playground were closed unfortunately due to renovations, but overall I enjoyed my stay! The price is affordable for a family, and is oceanfront, I will be visiting again the next time I’m in Daytona Beach!!

This property was perfect for a family. We had adequate space in our room, a beautiful view, and easy access to the indoor pool and beach. There is a basketball area and cafe for convenience. The facility is old and there were some touches that are needed for it to really be 5 stars. However, the kindness and courtesy extended by the staff more than made up for it.

we had family in town visiting from Louisiana that we have not seen in almost a year and our two kids are really close with their two kids so it was to be an exciting couple of days reconnecting. We were due to arrive Sunday and in route found out one of their family members was hospitalized. Intern, we wanted the kids to be able to spend time together and as much as possible so there are girls spent the two days with us. We asked for a late check out yesterday so that the cousins could spend a lot of time together, everyone at Sun Viking was very nice and friendly and they accommodated our request due to the circumstances the room was very clean although it is an older hotel that has been around since I was a kid we were pleasantly surprised on the cleanliness and it was well stocked love the view of the beach, the indoor pool will definitely be back
