Home2 Suites by Hilton Tampa Westshore Airport, FL

Overall our stay was great and the breakfast in the morning was perfect for our little family. Only complaint was the air conditioner unit in our room had a hard time keeping the room cool, woke up sweating at one point.

Clean and friendly staff. Super helpful and flexible which was amazing for my family of 5.

We had several flight delays and with 3 minor children, we didn’t want to attempt to spend the night at the airport. Home 2 suites accommodated 6 of us last minute, even though it was only for a very short night sleep. Beds were comfortable and staff very pleasant. We were even shuttled back to the airport early to attempt to get a flight!

Hotel check in was quick, room was spacious with kitchenette and pull out couch. Beds were comfortable enough for our 1 night stay. Whole hotel smelled a little musty (they did have signs up saying the carpets had just been cleaned). Our rooms air never turned off even when we turned it to off. Perhaps it was white noise to keep the highway sounds at bay but it was annoying. Pool is small and there was limited seating but it was clean and kids were happy. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Staff was nowhere to be found with front desk person continuing to go in back to get basic things refilled- coffee, utensils, plates etc… staff didn’t use gloves when refilling things. Selection of hot foods was VERY limited but cook yourself waffles were good and the premade breakfast sandwich was good. When we stay in the area again we’d pick a different spot for a few $ more.

Very nice place to stay with our family. Has a lot of amenities and very clean for the price.

Quick to get to from the airport. Got in at 1am and they told us we could have a late checkout at 1pm for no fee. Workout area was big and so was the room for a family of five. Breakfast was standard continental. Great value!

While the hotel was nice and spacious overall, I called the morning of check-in to ask about the airport shuttle service and was told it operated until midnight, only to arrive and make the call for pickup and be told that on Sundays, the shuttle is only available until 4pm and had to find our own way there with 2 families including 3 children and all our luggage

Fantastic stay. We were a family of 5. Liked the mini kitchen. Folks could use the sink even when the bathroom was in use. Note to the hotel, please make sure that Hotels.com adds "free breakfast included." It isn't clear on the website though it is mentioned in places and in the reviews. But if you filter search to include "free breakfast" Home2 Suites doesn't come up. I just happened to scroll through and found this hotel almost by accident. Glad I did.

We drove down to Tampa for a concert at Raymond James stadium. The hotel was close to the venue and comfortable to stay at. We brought our kids, ages 7 and 9. They enjoyed the breakfast bar and the hotel pool.

The check in person was very personable and accommodating for our family and their children to be across the hall from each other
