Hampton Inn & Suites Tampa Airport Avion Park Westshore

We arrived early and the young lady checking us in was wonderful and allowed us to check in early. Once in the room someone just randomly opened our door and obviously startled everyone she also startled herself and just remained in the room trying to figure out why we were there. I’m assuming she was housekeeping looking to clean the room. At first glance the room looked clean but then we noticed small things that indicated the room was not. There was a charger that was left behind from the previous person and crumbs all over the nightstand by the bed. The hallways looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. We arrived at 9am and stayed overnight we never heard them cleaning. The person that took over the desk in the afternoon just kept giving my kids keycards when they asked for them in which I did not appreciate at all.

Queen suite was spacious and comfortable perfect for a family.

After checking in we were told of a water shutoff from 11 pm to 6 am. Our group had 3 adults and 2 small children. We we up at 4 am to leave at 5 am. The main reason for getting a hotel next to airport was to sleep, awaken early, shower and fly out. If I had known ahead of time I would have stayed somewhere else. I have stayed at Hampton many times with no issues. Although I understand things happen I find it unfair to charge a full nights stay when you are not provided the service expected. I will be contacting someone about a refund.

This was a perfect place after our long delayed flight. Nice big room, clean, comfy bed. Breakfast had plenty of good options for the whole family.

We were impressed with this hotel. Location is very convenient when catching a flight. The suite room was very nice and clean and comfortable for our family of 4. And, the free morning breakfast was better the most.

We traveled with our two young children to attend a Bucs football game and we would certainly return to this hotel. It was clean and quiet. The staff was so helpful and friendly. It was a wonderful experience!
