Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Tampa North

The experience was super great the room was very clean. one issue I have when I stay in hotels is the room not been clean properly and this hotel, I did not have to worry. The room was amazing very clean the bathroom and towel were also very clean. I do recommend this hotel to family and friends. awesome experience.

I booked the hotel because it had an outdoor pool for my kids, but of course, it was closed for renovations although no one worked on it the entire time we were there. The night we arrived I was told that it would be open the next day, but the next morning I was informed that it definitely would not be open until the end of the month and she wasn't sure why I was told otherwise. I know! She lied to me to get me not to be irritated at her even though I told her it wasn't her fault and that I was just bummed. Also, they had given away all the double rooms (that I prepaid for) and gave us a room with a king bed and a pullout sofa. It eneded up being ok but there were no sheets or pillows fo rthe sofa, but i didnt know this until the morning after my son literally slept directly on the mattress. Everyone was really nice and apologetic. The room was spacious and the breakfast was okay. However, I thought the coffee in the lobby was great. Better than most hotels that I've stayed in so that was definitly a bonus.

Nothing special at all about this property, especially for the price. The room was clean, nothing more than that in the plus column. Not greeted at check in, not asked how our stay was at check out. We were on the first floor and the noise of people or kids running back and forth above us was just ridiculous. Wouldn't stay again.

Nice stay with kids. Breakfast is ok. Comfortable place with friendly staff. Convenient location.

The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful but overall, my experience at this hotel was super disappointing. As soon as I walked into the hotel, there was a strong smell, weed smell to be more exact. Same thing in the elevator. My small kids kept asking what the smell was, I didn't know what to say. Hallway in the third floor same thing. The rooms had a bad odor, like humid, wet carpet, the carpet was super dirty and nasty I couldn't walk barefoot. We got a room on the third floor but the guest wi-fi didn't work up there, we had to move to the first floor. I was hoping the room was in better condition but it was the same bad odor, dirty carpets. Please clean those carpets! The breakfast was disappointing as well, no healthy options, the green apples were bruised.

Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. Stayed for couple of days , had comfortable stay with kids. Will come back again
