We loved this property! The lobby is beautiful. The rooftop pool is fabulous, and our waterfront room with a balcony was so lovely. Barbara checked us in and welcomed us kindly, even inviting my kids to take a treat from the treasure chest. The pool attendant was very kind too - I think his name was Bruce. We ate dinner at the restaurant on the outdoor patio and enjoyed our food and drinks.

I brought my family on vacation to this hotel to celebrate my daughter making her communion. We are a Blue Line family who has NEVER once had security called on us in our lives. My children were laughing and playing and watching movies, and security called us and knocked on our door 4 times during our visit telling us someone called in a noise complaint. I had to literally tell my 2yr old and 8 yr to stop laughing and having fun because it’s not allowed at this hotel.

It was mostly fine, but didn't feel like 4-star quality. Elevators were kinda scary and grindingly loud, some with broken screens/buttons. Our room felt very small (we were sharing with an 8yo, but still) and dirty. Upon arrival there was long hairs throughout and in bathroom, closet so dusty with clumps that I didn't want to store anything in there. Staff was mostly fine, definitely felt kind of frantic while managing many (which I understand with conventions and stuff) Overall, it was ok. Felt expensive but not as friendly or accommodating or exclusive as I'd've liked. We weren't the trendiest or wealthiest there (by a margin) and could feel that divide. Pools were fun! I'm sure we'd've had more fun without the kid.

We had a great trip to Marriott Water Street. The pool deck was perfect and my family really enjoyed the addition of the large chess board, foosball, corn hole, shaded tv area, bar and grille. The restaurants on the property were delicious and overall a great experience!

Our stay was AMAZING!! Upon check-in, we told the agent that we had booked a VRBO that didn't work out and that we had had a tough trip so far. We asked if we could get a river view. He gave us a river view with a balcony on the 16th floor and it was WONDERFUL!! It made a really tough day A LOT better. We had our family dog with us and there was a nice grassy patch on the side of the hotel for curbing our dog. The outdoor restaurant was GREAT!! We had late night pizza that was SUPER!! We ordered room service for breakfast twice. It was delivered quickly; the food was hot and tasty!! We had to get our car out of valet several times and it was always waiting for us when we got downstairs. We LOVED our visit to the Tampa Marriott Water Street!

Overall great experience but our room wasn’t cleaned correctly/thoroughly. We left around 10am and returned around 4pm. Our room still wasn’t cleaned and at that point couldn’t (two kids who needed a nap). We asked for new towels that’s it.
