Ocean Sands Beach Inn

We stayed at this hotel for a family wedding. The hotel was quaint, clean and staff was amazing. We loved the little perks like cookies and popcorn each afternoon. The beach was beautiful and literally right across the street. The only reason I am not giving this a 5 may be kind of silly, but worth mentioning. I ordered a $10 bottle of champagne and was charged $98 for it! I wasn't informed of the price (though I probably should have asked) and thought that was a tad overboard. Otherwise, great stay.

When we first arrived at 2:30pm to check in- the lady at the desk stated to everyone that the cleaning lady didn’t have the room ready and we would have to wait. Then another staff person who didn’t greet anyone was very “like get this transaction done” really didn’t explain anything, had to rely on text messages for information. The painting were pretty cool all over the place of the local area, crossing the street to the beach was very close and very dangerous with kids and dogs. There is a very steep sand dune to cross to get to the beach as the walkway bridge was not available. The beach was great! Great sunset view, pool looks clean! Inside the desk area and coffee area is very small. Cookies and popcorn at 5 pm. Also the TV wasn’t working, had to have the staff come up and program the TV took already 30 mins to get that done. The floor to the hotel room was nasty, the beds were very high off the ground they were comfortable and the AC unit froze everyone sleeping on one side and the others in the room were hot. The bathroom door is a wooden door that does not lock. The balcony was small but fit everyone to watch the sunset. That was very pretty. For the price, it was average! For the views and convenience of being right on the beach, it was worth it. $75 per pet! They do not acknowledge emotional support animals. They also charge a $69 resort parking fee. The pet station was not maintained, can was full. The breakfast the next morning was decent. Yogurt/eggs/B&G.

We loved our stay! The staff was beyond incredible and the kids had a blast at the private beach area! Will definitely be making this our staple next trip!

Had a great experience with the family beautiful place. The beach is on the other side of the road. Literary 10 feet away.

A great place very quiet and clean it was easy to book and check in. ..the front desk person Nick was very helpful and you can help the housekeeper Val works very hard. Recommend to my friends and family for sure.

The resort didnt really match ads pictures for place. The rooms had been redone but the carpet smelled musky. For the price we shouldnt be able to hear a baby cry all night and during day on one side and the other couple had 2 puppies who cried howled when left alone. I checked out a day early. I also thought the parking fee charge was strange for what i paid a night parking doesn't come with your room. Really Now the location is beautiful that part of the beach. I believe my room was an Elite a little over 300 a night so for that kind of money i shouldn't smell bad carpet or hear puppies and babies.

i booked this hotel thinking there was a spa there was no spa or gift shop i paid over 2 thousand dollars up front for this room we stayed from july 21st checked out july 26th. We have stayed at this little inn a few times in the past so we were excited to return not only was it over priced i had to pay 15.00 a night to park in there drive way there was no microwave in our room the toilet paper holder was laying under the sink shower had no place to hold on to while in the shower and of course one night a family pet would not stop barking we waited all summer to go here the charm of the beach was my happy place getting there another story i remember how wonderful this place was back in the day i am sad to say i will not be recommending this place especially at the price i paid

Our stay was amazing. It’s a small hotel which gives more of a family feel, from the moment we walked in til the moment we left everyone was so friendly and constantly asking if there was anything we needed or if there was anything they could do to make improvements The beds were so soft and comfortable the TV’s were huge smart tv’s . The bathrooms had been updated and upgraded. Loved staying and will definitely be return customers in the future.I would definitely give it the highest rating 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
