La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Orlando Lake Mary

Booked and stayed due to lack of options and proximity to family. Overall it was “eh”. Or so-so. Pros: did not smell bad in lobby or hallways Room A/C worked great Easy check in and out on my phone Cons: Loud! Dogs barking, alarms going off all night, no way to stop it. Broken! Phone in room didn’t work, tv in bedroom of king suite didn’t work. Part of ceiling (probably too much paint) falling in window area, fridge covered in ice. Not the cleanest: heavy black dirtiness on windows, doors and walls had dirtiness like fingerprints or just nastiness Not helpful: tried to report issues, desk person less than helpful and gave a late check out when asked but with a slight attitude as if I was bothering her. Overall may stay again just bc of convenience and bc it’s better than the surrounding hotels but will look elsewhere first.

We were in town from out of state for a family emergency. We had to find last minute accommodations in the area. We were very pleased with your hotel.

I stay at the LaQuinta often with my family and it’s always nice and clean and the pool is nice and the breakfast is awesome.

If you want a nice, quiet place to work this hotel is the best. Thank you Wyndham for ensuring business travellers and family travellers to have properties managed like this one. Front desk staff are superb!!

Overall great value for the money 8/10. Location is a little tucked away which is nice. Mildly walkable if it's not hot and you're typically a walker or runner otherwise driving or Lyft/Uber is very reasonably priced option. Plenty of restaurants within 5-10 min. Only negatives were the sound of the A/C cutting on and off, the AC is louder than average AC and does not seem to have adjustable control settings. Other annoying thing was the rooms are designed so that adjoining rooms can be connected for families or groups. Negative of this is it sounded like someone was in my room, but it was just the neighbors and they woke up early unfortunately. They should have heavy mats or long pillows that lay at the base of the doors to damper and block sound.

I don’t leave many reviews but this was a must. I’ll say I read reviews before I book and this hotel didn’t have awful reviews. First one room sheets were stained, there was cob webs all over corners of ceilings and we found TONS of baby ants on our nightstand going in the alarm and all! Plus on windowsil(we were on 3rd floor). The bathroom needed to be cleaned. The pool although cold was decent just dirty with leaves and bugs. Hot tub was hot. The area is sketchy. There was someone with a German sheapard dog because it’s pet friendly that was trying to attack other dogs and barking trying to get to members. The overall feel is run down and just dirty. Not even being on the cheaper side is this hotel worth it. With the Wyndham name attached I expected much better!

This hotel was renovated approximately 6 years ago and I love the ambiance of the lobby. We stayed for one night with a family of four. The beds were full size which was too small and the mattress was very firm. Our room could have used an air filter change or air freshener due to the smell of musky air pits. We were so exhausted and it was a late check in, so we just adjusted.

The pool was ice cold and our family wasn't able to use it. The walls are thin and we could hear the people in the next room talking. There were many high school kids in at the same time and they were very noisy. Your hotel is lacking many features for families.

Unfortunately, on the night of Feb. 3rd I stayed in room 318. The room next to me consist of young kids in a room without parents. As a result, the kids were screaming and making a lot of noise. The noise continued into the early morning hours. Therefore, I did not get a good night of rest. Perhaps, there were complains. Everything else was fine. I had to get up early on the 4th. I was tired throughout day because of a lack of sleep.

The night receptionist was very rude and without tac nor customer service tools. Due to some travelling issues I did not check in on the day I was supposed to tried contacting front desk without response. I arrived the following day even though I had paid to reserve my rooms for 4 days, they did not reserve it nor did they send me an email to inform me of the changes, that lead to me and my family squatting in chair bed ( very uncomfortable by the way.) the whole experience was awful to say the least never again.
