Tru By Hilton St. Petersburg Downtown Central Ave, FL

Fun family vacation and the stay was good. My only issue was one of the front desk employee. Young brown haired guy who had no costumer service at all. Was rude most the time and was on his phone while dealing with people checking in/out or asking for information. He shouldn’t be at a job dealing with people if he didn’t want to deal with costumers. Other than that, the room was good enough for what we needed.

Check in was friendly and welcoming. Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Valet parking and the free breakfast was a nice touch. Location is excellent. Room was well soundproofed. Our family will use this hotel from now on, whenever we visit St.Pete ( which is often).

Staff was nice, professional the whole time. The rooms were nice, clean and my family had enjoyed our stay. We will rebook at this location in future.

Our children loved the arcade and pool table which allowed us a chance to unwind while they played. Loved that they welcome dogs too

This is right across the street from Tropicana Field! In addition, they have a great shuttle to downtown St. Petersburg where you don’t have to worry about paying for or find parking. The hotel is extremely cleaned and they offer breakfast, great games for the kids, great places within walking distance, and a friendly staff! The only thing we didn’t like were the pillows.

We really enjoyed our stay here . The rooms were incredibly clean , the staff was also extremely kind and helpful ! It is a new more modern design in the rooms which I liked because there are not tons of dressers etc taking up space in the room. The only difficult thing was the fact that the modern look comes with a lot of wood and a lot of edges that seem to not be the best if you have children (my daughter is 2) or taller people (my husband is 6’2). I think it might have been more of a headache if I had more children with me but if that doesn’t bother you (which it wasn’t a deal breaker for me) you’ll really enjoy your stay here . Even the valet service they use has super friendly employees. It’s also nice because you can text the valet at any time and they will bring you your car before your even present down in the lobby . Overall it was a nice experience for us! My parents stayed here as well and they also enjoyed it !

Games for kids. Close to ballpark. No real swimming pool, just a water feature. Toilet in room was broken. Room had odd smell.
