The Avalon Club

Great location right off the beach! Very clean….. not enough bath towels in a deluxe sweet for a family of 7, so at check in immediately ask for additional towels! We were on the 3rd floor “Ocean view” room 309 and it has an obstructed view. Didn’t enjoy having to look at a roof before seeing the ocean. Previous reviews stated to request the 6th floor, but I’m not sure how to do that since they are individually rented by owners. Chairs and umbrellas are free and available for you to carry and bring back. They aren’t already set up on the beach for guest to enjoy, so you have to do a little work while on vacation. Overall it was a great stay , just a few issues I wasn’t happy about!

The property was beautiful, new, and clean. The young girl Cassie at check in was so nice and helpful. The bartender at the pool bar was named Julie and she was the nicest to our whole family. We will be back, the beach was very private and easy to enjoy.

Property was in a nice location. I would say the evening person at the front desk was very annoying. He complained about my kids clapping coming off the elevator called me twice with the same complaint. He tried to make it seem as if they was jumping on the elevator funny thing is 2 happen to be young adults and the other is 14. I guess he’s just a crab.

The property was newer and the lobby was clean. Our suite was lovely- especially the floor to ceiling sliding doors that offer a lovely view and sunlight! Plenty of chairs, umbrellas and kid toys to bring to the beach, was also a pleasant surprise.

The staff were beyond amazing. We were here for our wedding and the hotel staff went above and beyond for us and our friends and family. They were very helpful and always happy to see everyone. I will always recommend someone to stay here. It’s right on the beach, easy parking, close to restaurants, not very busy, and very welcoming.

We were a family of 7. 2 adult's, 3 teens and grandparents. We had a 3 bedroom suite on the 6th floor. Lovely and spacious suite with beautiful views of the bay. Absolutely stunning sunrises that could be seen from my room and balcony. Fully equipped kitchen. The hotel was brighr and clean. The staff were exceptional. They were very polite and helpful. The hotel is set on the beach. The hotel allows you to borrow chairs, parasols and swim equipment for the beach for free. There is a complimentary tea and coffee service on the 2nd floor. There is a gas station 3 min walk away where you can buy the essentials. We would definitely return. My only improvements would be that Avalon should allow for late checkouts. There is also a daily parking charge and resort fee that you need to be aware of when booking.

Our family stayed here for a few days just on vacation. There were 5 of us, and this place was so clean and updated. The staff were all fantastic. It's a smaller hotel which is just our style and on the less busy part of the island, but we could walk to all the shops and restaurants with absolutely no problem. It was a perfect low key getaway.
