Sandpearl Resort

Short family vacation, but this was our third time staying at the Sandpearl Resort. We love it!!

Avoid if you have kids with autism, overpriced , what you pay for hotel on booking is apparently just a deposit well my deposit was 12.5 GBP , tate island grill food was terrible was told sofa bed would be put away everyday and put back down on turn down never happened once checked out on last day to book into another hotel my opening line says the reason for that front of house staff are rude a generally couldn’t care less manager Daniel should no be manager wish I would of read recent reviews before booking

We drove down after 4 days at Disney, it was exactly what we needed. Great for families, beautiful rooms and views, directly on the beach, relaxing, they make everything easy for you with excellent customer service. I will stay again!

Clean property with kind & attentive staff. Close to everything, and great for both kids and adults. Well maintained beach and pool area, and all the amenities that you would expect out of a hotel of this caliber.

The resort, hotel and rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The staff and service are friendly and fantastic. The in-room dining is good and quick. I particularly liked hard flooring with throw rugs instead of carpet. They provide bracelets with tiny room keycards so that you can go swimming in the ocean or roam the resort while your valuables are in your room safe. The live music at Tate Island Grill was great and the key lime pie is the best I've had. Several things kept this from being a 5 star experience. The teenagers in the room next door were noisy and squealing until the wee hours of the morning and there was seemingly no sound insulation. The hotel was unable to move me to another room because they were "sold out". They showed very loud outdoor kid's movies in the center of the main courtyard by the pool both nights of my stay. Most of the rooms face this courtyard so the sound overwhelmed the vibe for hours, including overpowering a wedding reception on the lawn right next to the movie screen. There weren't many kids or adults watching the movie so perhaps this could be a smaller event to the side. One night the exhaust fan from the grill blew odors into the balconies so I couldn't sit outside or keep the sliding doors open. Luckily the wind changed so there were no odors the following day or evening. The spa was very nice and massage therapist was friendly and attentive. These are small matters and did not keep me from really enjoying my stay.

Property and rooms are well cared for. Rooms appeared newer than what was on the website which was a nice surprise. Lots of great amenities and activities for kids of all ages. The beach service was great - Taylor and Carmen and others were wonderful and worked hard each day!

We had an excellent spring break, family style. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly. It was relaxing and we wanted to stay longer. Great restaurants and shopping near by.

The pool area is gorgeous but the rooms are outdated. Ordered room service twice and it was awful and so expensive. The restaurant in the hotel by the pool was also terrible. There was a wedding that took place during the duration of our stay that was so unnecessarily loud and shook the whole room until 11pm. Not ideal with a baby. The staff is super friendly and accommodating though. Would come back for the pool and beach access alone but really wish the food and noise were better. Especially for the price of the stay.

Stay was very good. We have been to the Sandpearl resort many times with family and friends and always had a good stay, all though this stay they let us down. We requested a 2 PM late check out and were told they could not go past 12 noon so we proceeded to sit in the lobby for an additional 2 hours. The Resort was less than 50% occupied so this was very disappointing to me and my family.

Great place for families with young kids. Every night movie for the kids and fire pits. Reading by young mermaid at the pool for the kids was nice. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Easy place to stay with kids.
