Clearwater Beach Marriott Suites on Sand Key

Great service all around! Pool is nice and kept warm. Poolside service is attentive and prompt. Rooms are clean and cozy. Location is perfect for families and if you want to be in a quieter area that isn’t congested with traffic and people.

Ants ALL over the room . Traveled with family including an elderly woman and a toddler and some of them woke up with ant bites . Expressed our concerns to the front desk and they said they would refund our parking but they still charged my card . For 360 a night I would’ve expected better care from the Marriott team.

This hotel has everything. Our stay included Jolley Trolley for everyone in our party and transport to and from the beach. The pools were amazing for our 4 children (ages 4-16). Food was good. Service was amazing from check in to checkout, no complaints!

First time staying with 4 kids. The room was ok. View of the bay on one side and the gulf at the door. Decent size room for everyone to move around in. Pullout couch was unbearable to sleep on. Fast elevators. Friendly staff at the front desk. Pool lounge chairs had the most disgusting stains on the cushions! They need to be replaced! The pool towels are so paper thin and cheap as if they have been around since the 80’s! I’ve never seen anything like it and this is a Marriott?? Pool was also dirty. It needs to be deep cleaned. There was a film on the side of the pool where my kids were able to use their fingers to draw a picture on it and it stayed! About 4 inches above the pool water had this grayish film on the tile. Cabanas were ok. They were a little dirty but nothing too bad. Only outlets for you to charge a phone was above your head by the TV so you needed to get on a chair to reach it. Cabana staff was prompt and very friendly. Food was ok at the resort. I don’t think we’ll be back because of conditions with the pool area.

This is the most amazing hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff is so friendly, and I mean all the staff not just one or two people! They made my 2 toddlers feel so loved and welcomed , the experience has been priceless! The staff even raced cars in the lobby with my 4 year old and 6 year old son!! They gave them free toys and sun glasses! Free beach balls! Thank you so much for such genuine loving service!! The beds and blankets are so nice!! Your gonna love it!

Great and kid friendly, their favorite thing was Lisa the blue macaw in the lobby. The pool, splash pad, and sandy poolside area were also wonderful. I wasn't expecting the beach to be across the street, and I was a little disappointed in the sushi menu because it seemed to be prominently promoted, but overall was a great experience and we wish we could have stayed longer!

Highly recommend this property. Ideal & quiet location in South Clearwater Beach. The lively North Beach area is easily accessible in just a few minutes with free the trolley ride to & from the hotel. Easy walk to beach & picturesque views of Clearwater Bay. Staff & property were excellent, although the area is a bit of a tourist trap & therefore quite expensive. My only (minor) quibbles - not a lot of ‘extras’ with our package (i.e.: even had to pay for parking & only got free wifi due to my Marriott Bonvoy membership). Also, there should be a kids hot tub. The only hot tub was constantly occupied by the young kiddies - one of whom spent his time picking his nose & then ‘disposing’ of his little nasal treasures in the hot tub water. Not the hotels’ fault of course. There is a kids area in close proximity to the main pool area, but it didn’t seem to be used much. Would be an ideal location for a ‘kids only’ hot tub. Anyways, we loved this property & already looking at booking again.

Loved the friendly staff. The property was very well maintained. The rooms were exactly as we thought they would be. Great views from the balcony. We liked that the Jolley Trolley made a stop right in in front of the hotel. Our rooms were very comfortable. The showers were very roomy inside of them. The hotel had a wonderful breakfast buffet. Other meals, lunch and dinner, that you can make reservations for. The swimming area was clean and there is a children's area to play under the sprinklers. The waterfall at the pool is beautiful to watch. Also the staff from the outside bar came around and offered to bring your food and drinks. The bay is filled with beautiful sail boats and there is a Jet Ski company where you can rent from. The boardwalk takes you to the back of shops and other restaurants nearby.
