Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Pensacola West, FL

The room was pretty nice. We weren't provided with extra towels during two days of our trip. One the 3rd day of our trip, our room wasn't "cleaned" until late afternoon. The beds were made up and the trash was emptied. The room was swept at all which was really bad because we went to the beach and had a lot of sand of the floor and my kids keep tracking it back into the beds.

The hotel was wonderful. I wish I got the name of the woman running the front desk because she was very polite and helpful. It seemed like she was working alone and even with a longer line, she was in a great mood. Breakfast was good. Not a huge spread but there was plenty to get the whole family full.

Convenient to I-10. There are some restaurants in the immediate area if needed. Everything seemed safe, and noise wasn’t of concern. Staff was friendly. Our room (2 queen) had plenty of room for 2 adults and two kids during our short stay. Everything seemed to be updated. We did notice some hairs on the bathroom floor, and my wife noticed a couple on towels. Otherwise, everything seemed pretty clean. Overall, it was a pretty good place to stay for the value.

Most of the staff was friendly; however, our room was not very clean. The linen on the beds actually smelled bad. Despite knowing it was 2 adults and 2 children, we were not given adequate towels. On the second day, we were given unraveling towels for 2. When I went to the front desk to request a full set for everyone, I was told I would have to find and ask a housekeeper. When I did, she did not seem happy about giving me the additional towels. Several guests reported dirty rooms and foul smells in their rooms during checkout. The hot tub was out of order, and I did not allow my children in the pool. The water in the pool was cloudy and had particles floating in it for the duration of my stay. You could not see passed the first step in the pool. Although you could smell the chlorine, the water was clearly unbalanced and there were several children in the water. Chlorine alone does not make a pool safe and a hotel should have no problem paying for proper maintenance. This was definitely a one and done for me.

There was some noisy guest and their kids who were running the halls late on Friday and Saturday night.

The first 3 rooms they offered us on the 4th floor all smelled very strongly of cat pee. At that time another family also complained about the smell and that their room had not been cleaned. Finally, they offered us a room on the 3rd floor that smelled clean. It's an older hotel, the hallway carpet was dirty looking. Management said they were short handed.

Traveling with family during Spring break. The room was great & bed was comfortable. The hot water was the best part! Absolutely loved our stay & will be back again!

This Hotel requires a "Deposit" to stay at this location in addition to payment that is collected on the 3rd party site. If this was noted on the site this would be NO PROBLEM however it was not and the ONLY hotel that had any vacancies at the time (now I know why). I don't mind paying service fees, surcharges or anything else but allow me to put this on the card HOWEVER it was requested in CASH - $200.00 dollars!! Normally I don't write reviews either way because that is NOT me HOWEVER people traveling in a beautiful area with a family need to know this.

Nice, clean , spacious and updated. I had a family emergency and did not get to stay the entire stay, Lara and her Manager Amanda were empathic , patient and sweet. Will highly recommend as they care about their guest and property.

The staff was amazing day and night. The property was very clean. We had some visitors that live in the area and the staff let our visitors swim with us for a little bit. The indoor heated pool was a huge hit for my kids. The hot tub was broken so the adults were a little disappointed. All in all we had a wonderful stay. Only complaints were the beds were uncomfortable and we received one washcloth covered in hair. Still wouldn't give it less then an excellent review.
