Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Pensacola West, FL

This was our first time staying here. We were in town for a family reunion. The Lady at the desk was very friendly and when she saw that it was just my wife and I she upgraded our room to a single king bed room from our double queen beds. Breakfast was good and checkout was smooth and friendly also.

The room was pretty nice. We weren't provided with extra towels during two days of our trip. One the 3rd day of our trip, our room wasn't "cleaned" until late afternoon. The beds were made up and the trash was emptied. The room was swept at all which was really bad because we went to the beach and had a lot of sand of the floor and my kids keep tracking it back into the beds.

I had one problem my one year old baby girl got out the room. She could reach door knob and it’s easy to get out the room.

I don't know who is leaving the reviews for this place but i personally did not have any complaints while staying here with my family

The hotel was wonderful. I wish I got the name of the woman running the front desk because she was very polite and helpful. It seemed like she was working alone and even with a longer line, she was in a great mood. Breakfast was good. Not a huge spread but there was plenty to get the whole family full.

Convenient to I-10. There are some restaurants in the immediate area if needed. Everything seemed safe, and noise wasn’t of concern. Staff was friendly. Our room (2 queen) had plenty of room for 2 adults and two kids during our short stay. Everything seemed to be updated. We did notice some hairs on the bathroom floor, and my wife noticed a couple on towels. Otherwise, everything seemed pretty clean. Overall, it was a pretty good place to stay for the value.

Most of the staff was friendly; however, our room was not very clean. The linen on the beds actually smelled bad. Despite knowing it was 2 adults and 2 children, we were not given adequate towels. On the second day, we were given unraveling towels for 2. When I went to the front desk to request a full set for everyone, I was told I would have to find and ask a housekeeper. When I did, she did not seem happy about giving me the additional towels. Several guests reported dirty rooms and foul smells in their rooms during checkout. The hot tub was out of order, and I did not allow my children in the pool. The water in the pool was cloudy and had particles floating in it for the duration of my stay. You could not see passed the first step in the pool. Although you could smell the chlorine, the water was clearly unbalanced and there were several children in the water. Chlorine alone does not make a pool safe and a hotel should have no problem paying for proper maintenance. This was definitely a one and done for me.

There was some noisy guest and their kids who were running the halls late on Friday and Saturday night.

The first 3 rooms they offered us on the 4th floor all smelled very strongly of cat pee. At that time another family also complained about the smell and that their room had not been cleaned. Finally, they offered us a room on the 3rd floor that smelled clean. It's an older hotel, the hallway carpet was dirty looking. Management said they were short handed.

Traveling with family during Spring break. The room was great & bed was comfortable. The hot water was the best part! Absolutely loved our stay & will be back again!
