Palmetto Inn & Suites

The staff were super helpful and very friendly to my kids. The room was clean and ready for when we came in. It was also very helpful having a full size refrigerator, stove, and microwave in the room.

I was hesitant about staying at the Palmetto after reading some reviews, but I’m glad I took a chance! We stayed across the street, no ocean view. It was an older building, but our room was very clean and the ac was COLD! Our room was right next to the indoor pool, which was super convenient for our family. Room was well insulated so we heard no outside noise. We will stay here again.

Everything was honestly pretty good. The only issues I have is they don’t have room service until you stayed for over four days and multiple other people complained that they were there for five days and still didn’t get room service. It was just me and my husband, and we threw towels to the side, and went to the front desk to ask for more. But had it been my whole family, it would’ve been a true pain in the butt. Also, was told their tiki bar did not have a liquor license. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because they had a bar next to the pool. I was never told upon checking in that their bar was out of service. I had to ask why it was closed and was told “they don’t have a liquor license” weird that your bar doesn’t have a liquor license but OK. Other than that, the room was clean, it was big, The pool was really nice. But… only the pool on the beach side. They advertised across the street that they had an indoor heated pool and to be honest that pool was freezing compared to the outside pool so don’t advertise that it’s heated when it’s obviously not.

Great stay , nice pool, great view, right on the beach , outdated but very clean and worth the money. Free parking. Very family friendly.

They booked my room that i had booking guarantee paid extra for from here & no ive wasted time & money I don’t have trying to make sure my family had their first vacation in 4 years

My family and I recently stayed at the Palmetto we have no complaints. The property is a bit dated however; the hotel location and direct private beach access was great. I would ask if you could kindly provide more accessible towels at the pool area that would be awesome. I would definitely be back next summer same property.

We have been coming here for years, but this year was a little different. We never got any towels brought to the room without us asking for them and they never came in to empty trash. Plus, we went down to get in the pool and there was a bunch of men drinking with empty Beer bottles and cans all around the pool. So many they were stacked up. Didn’t feel like I wanted to take my children in the pool so we had to miss out of a pool day. Plus, the hot tub wasn’t working and there was no bar.. which we don’t buy alcohol but we like to buy non-alcohol frozen drinks while we lay out. That may have been why they were all in the pool. I know it’s under new management. Hopefully It will get straightened out. I hate to see it go down. It has always been our favorite place to stay in Panama City Beach. Plus, they didn’t put beach towels out to go to the beach like they have every year so I didn’t bring one, so I had to go out and buy one.

Beautiful ocean view from the balcony, room was good size and it had a full size fridge/freezer! They had a nice pool, hot tub, and kids pool right by the ocean along with available gas grills and gazebos for outdoor dining.

What a gem! Coastal, beachy boutique vibe. Right on the gulf, nice heated pool with hot tub and kids pool, shuffle board, kids play set on the beach c beach chairs and umbrellas. Clean, well maintained, beds and pillows comfortable and a friendly, friendly courteous staff. Parking is across the street but in April was not an issue.

When I called the hotel they got the email almost instantly and then booked tonight for tomorrow night w hotels of America for 15$ cheaper but they didn’t receive the email right after like they did w Expedia. This is my third time staying at palmetto . Used to be owned by a family and the room service was daily on room cleaning now they got bought by the seas company and only offer room cleaning every 3 days. Everything else was the same still very nice to stay at
