Palmetto Inn & Suites

I loved it! It's a perfect place for a family vacation, it has everything you need to spend a few quiet, happy and fun days. Its spaces are perfect and every detail is thought out for the comfort of the guests. The location is perfect, I recommend it 100%👌

One night some noisy neighbors woke us up. But this could happen in any large facility like this. The pool was heated and the hot tube was good. They also had a small pool for kids. The pool and decks were kept clean. The beach view is very good from your private balcony. The building is a little older but maintained well enough.

The property was good there was an indoor pool, outdoor pool, hot tub and beach. The property was a bit aged, but it did not affect the amenities. We were on a family vacation with small children and everyone enjoyed their stay.

The staff were super helpful and very friendly to my kids. The room was clean and ready for when we came in. It was also very helpful having a full size refrigerator, stove, and microwave in the room.

I was hesitant about staying at the Palmetto after reading some reviews, but I’m glad I took a chance! We stayed across the street, no ocean view. It was an older building, but our room was very clean and the ac was COLD! Our room was right next to the indoor pool, which was super convenient for our family. Room was well insulated so we heard no outside noise. We will stay here again.

Everything was honestly pretty good. The only issues I have is they don’t have room service until you stayed for over four days and multiple other people complained that they were there for five days and still didn’t get room service. It was just me and my husband, and we threw towels to the side, and went to the front desk to ask for more. But had it been my whole family, it would’ve been a true pain in the butt. Also, was told their tiki bar did not have a liquor license. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because they had a bar next to the pool. I was never told upon checking in that their bar was out of service. I had to ask why it was closed and was told “they don’t have a liquor license” weird that your bar doesn’t have a liquor license but OK. Other than that, the room was clean, it was big, The pool was really nice. But… only the pool on the beach side. They advertised across the street that they had an indoor heated pool and to be honest that pool was freezing compared to the outside pool so don’t advertise that it’s heated when it’s obviously not.

Pool is large but there is not a life guard and they do not monitor the pool at all. Many times several kids were jumping over us into the pool and throwing toys. Rooms are as clean as any other hotel. 2/5. Would stay here again for the accessibility to the beach, price, and location. Quick elevators.

Great stay , nice pool, great view, right on the beach , outdated but very clean and worth the money. Free parking. Very family friendly.

They booked my room that i had booking guarantee paid extra for from here & no ive wasted time & money I don’t have trying to make sure my family had their first vacation in 4 years
