Hyatt Place Panama City Beach

They only gave me one roll of toilet paper. There were 5 of us in the family and I was asking for it for two days and they never brought it to me. I had to go buy it and go to the reception to ask why I couldn't bring any paper and they gave it to me the night before I left. I loved the hotel but it's really annoying to have to go around asking for what should already be in the bathroom.

This was the best hotel on the beach we have stayed at. It was so clean and modern and it was convenient for our family with small children, as the elevators led directly to the pool and beach area. We did not have to walk through the lobby or any corridors to get from our room to the pool, as we have some other places. I also loved that the pool was not too deep, (4ft max) and the hot tub was perfect. The breakfast was amazing, and we always sat outside and watched the dolphins play while eating.

We are so glad we called ahead before the day of our check-in. You can park and utilize pre-check-in then use the amenities while you wait for your room to be ready on the first day. They called with our room a little early and the process was very quick. You are also able to stay on property after check-out. We really felt that gave us oir money's worth! Our family had the best time and will be back again.

Loved the location and the pool was nice for the kids. View was amazing. Breakfast was standard hotel food, same options every day pretty much The check in is terrible. Supposed to be allowed to go in at 4pm but the rooms are never ready. Twice ive had a delay in checking in at this place. The male bartender at the restaurant was slow and ignored costumers. The pool bartender was rude. But other than that it was good.

This hotel is amazing and convenient. We had a one day stay here out of a two week vacation. My family rated this the best hotel stay from our two week trip in Florida.

This was our first stay at this Hyatt and definitely won’t be the last. This is a relatively new hotel and I hope it doesn’t lose the excellent vibe over time that so many hotels do. Every single employee we encountered during our stay was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Cleanliness beyond what I was expecting- from catching a staff member vigorously cleaning the ice machines to the employee cleaning the elevator. The grounds and pool area immaculate. Our room was very roomy and so comfortable and even the balcony furniture was comfortable. The large pool has a heated lazy river, jacuzzi, and shallow area to walk in (great for small children). There’s a pool bar (pricey!) and music playing most of the time. I do wish there wasn’t a “resort fee” (I really hate that this is the norm now) but that does give you parking, an excellent breakfast bar with a wide variety of hot & cold and healthy options, and the use of 2 beach chairs and an umbrella (best perk ever!) Hotel is very close to great shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be staying here any time we head to PC!

Accommodations were very nice, everything is new and right on the beach. It's not like traditional Hyatt Place locations, the rooms are smaller and it feels more upscale. The breakfast was fabulous with many dietary restriction options. Only one issue, our reservation included a pet, which was missed at check-in and a surprise $125 non-refundable pet fee was charged to my card after check-in, unexpectedly, which created a momentary panic due to a recent fraud experience. The kids loved the lazy river which made up for it.

My family loves the heated pool at this Hyatt, easy beach access, close enough to walk to Pier Park, and breakfast was fresh. We have stayed multiple times at this Hyatt. We will stay again!
