Element Orlando International Drive

Well, when I first checked in, we got the room key and the hotel room had bugs in the shower then I called downstairs they told me that they can switch me to another room and then that room that the second room had roaches and the sink and then after I checked out of that room, they put me in another room and it was just finally got a room that was sort of clean but all three rooms. The bottom of the showers were not clean. They had dirt on the bottom of them so overall it was just a bad experience, I like the hotel but on this visit it was just a downhill and that is what I have to say about my stay and I had to check out to get a new hotel. Somewhere else just wasn’t pleasant for me at all and my family.

My family felt very unsafe and targeted when we stayed here and a “maintenance man” tried to break into our room. Stay clear.

Glad we stayed here. The kids loved the pool and the breakfast was a great addition. The rooms were spacious and clean and the hotel felt very safe and kid Friendly.

I like dining for our family

I cannot give this hotel enough praise. The room was so nice and very clean when we checked in. The entire staff was so curteous and welcoming. Little touches of home made our stay very easy with a newly traveling toddler. The hotel was very family friendly and even has a splash pad for the littles! The pool area was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was great and the ladies making it were so friendly. So many restaurants around and even a publix close by! Very close to Seaworld, Discovery Cove and Aquatica.

While waiting to be checked in behind two people, I overheard the clerk offer each person ahead of me a complimentary upgrade. However, when I reached the front of the line, I was not offered one. Though I didn’t necessarily need an upgrade, I couldn’t help but wonder why it wasn’t extended to me. There seemed to be only one obvious difference between me and those who were offered a refund, but I sincerely hope that the melanin in my skin wasn’t a factor. This was a hastily arranged trip due to a family emergency, and I selected this hotel primarily for its affordability, considering my tight budget. However, when the receptionist requested a credit card for incidentals, I inquired about the amount to be placed on hold. Despite being informed it would be a certain amount, my card was charged a higher amount. Upon questioning this discrepancy, the employee was dismissive, citing it as "just a hold". Yet, given my financial constraints, these unavailable funds significantly impact me for several days. Had I been provided with the correct information upfront, I could have utilized an alternative funding source. Lastly, my room was situated on the 7th floor, and it would have been appreciated to receive advance notice about ongoing painting work on the floor during my stay. The fumes permeating the hallway were quite noxious.

It was a good experience. Clean and kids friendly

I arrived earlier than expected. The front desk was able to check me in upon arrival. My room was clean and the beds were comfy. The staff was friendly. My room was missing an iron, and it was delivered promptly after calling the front desk. The pool area was clean. The kids enjoyed the splash pad area. The breakfast selection was limited but it was decent. I enjoyed the made to order omelette. I would stay here again. I would also say I didn’t find it walkable to seaworld. Parking is extra which I wasn’t too thrilled about, but I found the area to be safe.

A really good family stay

Hotel is very simple and modern. This is newer building connected with aloft. Front entrance is super small also front desk only one person working but when we check in or check out wasn't busy at all so not an issue. We stayed at one bedroom with full kitchen. Kitchen induction was so dirty and counter top also I have to clean before use it. Found couple hair on bathroom and inside shower. Also floor looks like not mopped. Room cleaning should be more carefully done. Shower doesn't have handheld and floor is so slippery my toddler slipped twice. Breakfast was okay not many selections. They have grill station only one menu a day. One day omelet second day avocado and egg with english muffin third day pancake scrambled egg and bacon. Second day I asked if I can just get fried egg guy said no and later he gave to me most workers doesn't speak english but very nice. Yogurt bar bread bagel muffins celeal apple banana orange thats about it. Ice water and coffee tea is always available and happy hour only on weekdays Monday to Thursday. 5pm to 6:30pm wine and beer olives and cheeses. Hotel located very close to sea world I-Ride Trolley right on international dr. Grocery restaurants CVS and Walgreens. Overall nice but not sure with little kids.
