La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Orlando - IDrive Theme Parks

Had a great stay here for a week while in Orlando for work-related reasons although it wasn't without some issues. The hotel's location was excellent but be careful when programming your GPS since there are three La Quintas spread along International Drive. Room amenities were good but soundproofing could be better since children running in the corridor and footfalls from the room above can be heard - thankfully that was a minor issue during the weekend when the hotel was full and it was much quieter on the weekdays. Noise from outside the hotel was a non-issue on the other hand. Breakfast was excellent with waffle makers, the usual variety of cereals, bread, and drinks, and the staff making sure to keep the hot bacon, sausage, and eggs topped up. Extras like the swimming pool and fitness room were appreciated when I wanted to get in some exercise. The staff were generally polite and very helpful. The biggest issue I had though was the hot water going out all of a sudden on my last night meaning a cold shower that evening. At least the staff did comp me one night to make up for it since I was the first to report the issue. Parking was ample but on the weekend was very full since its shared with the TRYP that's in the same compound. Overall, other than the surprise cold shower at the end this hotel was a good stay and I'd come back if I had to be in the area again.

Clean room and facility. Staff were very friendly. Great area to stay with kids.

2nd time staying there, the first time the room smelled like someone peed and the floor was sticky. This time it wasn’t as bad but it still smelled foul, we had another room my family was staying in and their room was fine. I don’t know what it is but other than that loved the breakfast and friendly service.

It was absolutely amazing! Staff was very helpful and attentive during our stay. Rooms were super clean and organized. Thank you for the friendly welcome! My family and I will be coming back again.

Air conditioner in the room would not work. Roaches in the room. It sm led like S#@$ and A$$ the whole time my family and I stood there for 3 nights. We put in a complaint and i was told the maintenance guy is going to take care of it. Then he walks into our room just to tell us; the reason why it smelled so bad is because the walls are made out of wood! My wife and the rest of my family knew it was bull. It wasn’t worth our time and your money!! Don’t get fulled by how the exterior looks folks.

1. Overall hotel conditions are very new with nice environment. 2. Hotel staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. 3. But the breakfast is not too good with limited varieties/choices, without changing at all. We've been there for 4 nights, after the first two days, all of our 5 family members did not have any appetite for this hotel's breakfast and we ended up eating breakfast outside. I understand I should not have too much expectation for this free breakfast. But this is one thing the hotel may want to improve further in the future to attract returning guests. 4. My bed sheets has yellow stains, which seemed to be something that could not be removed after cleaning. So I'm not too satisfied with cleanliness of this hotel and most likely will not stay with this hotel again next time in Orlando.

Travel with a kid

This Laquinta INN was one of the best hotels that I've stayed at, in a very long time!!! OMG. The staff is amazing! 2 particular staff members, Erica and Angela, went out their way to accommodate / help me and my family! The hotel is clean, fresh tile/plank flooring, no weird smells, just overall GREAT!. I know good things don't last, but it would be ashame, if this good thing did! Hopefully, when me and my family visit Orlando again, we will stay and have the same great experience!! House keeping was awesome as well, they were quick, prompt and willing to help when asked. Loved my stay❤️

When you enter into the hotel, the lobby looked gorgeous. However getting into the elevator, I noticed right away that only one was working. The other elevator had a sign saying “out of order”. I checked out the pool the same night I checked in, and it looked unclean. The bathroom smelled funny and the floor was sticky. The duvet also had a stain on it. The towel I used also had a stain, which I didn’t notice after I had already used it. Also, the floor I stayed on smelled like marijuana. The layout of the room is also kind of funny. There is a lamp shade where the desk area is that did not have a switch button. I had to manually turn it off. The in-room safe was broken so I couldn’t even use that. The shower was also funny. When you turn it on, you’ll get wet right away with cold water. The shower floor was unclean. The corners of the bathroom were dusty with cobwebs. It looked like no one had been cleaning them. The pool area in the middle of a hot day were quiet because of how icy cold it was. You won’t see any kids swimming at the pool, which is quite sad. The positive I have to mention was the location. It’s minutes away from the theme parks and restaurants. In addition, the hotel has free parking and breakfast included. Not a lot of options for breakfast, but the waffles were great. The eggs were also flavorful. Of course I have to mention that the staff I encountered during my stay were nice:).

We visited in February. We chose this hotel for the hot tub so we could use this in the afternoon/evening after the parks in case the pool was cold. The pool was cold and looked like it needed a clean. The hot tub was broken on arrival and we was told that they were awaiting maintenance. We checked every day of our 5 day trip but this was not fixed so we never used the pool or hot tub for our whole holiday which is usually a big part of our holiday. Very disappointing as this was our 25th wedding anniversary and our first holiday in 15 years without our children.
