Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orange City - Deltona, an IHG Hotel

One of the best places I’ve stayed in the entire USA. Such a friendly and super CLEAN staff. The rep at front desk Alex was super friendly and polite. He made us feel as we came over to stay with family. His genuine kindness made the experience that much more memorable. The room service entire crew were kind and always friendly. The morning breakfast is outstanding. They make sure it’s always stocked up and it actually changes everyday. Beyond what you can imagine. And quality of food is better then diners.

Arrived from uk for my brothers funeral and while being met by other family in the lobby, we were shocked by the rude duty manager who told us to stop making noise and when told that her attitude was unwarranted, she then refused to check us in and gestured for us to queue to have the other member of staff check us in. Made to feel unwelcome. Breakfast food not great quality apart from cinnamon rolls. Tea/coffee available 24hr. Noisy room with poor soundproofing between rooms. Comfortable bed with choice of pillows. Other reception staff helpful but some staff in breakfast area miserable. Expensive room rates for a budget style hotel.

We always stay there when visiting family. Always consistent. Breakfast of really good with great variety.

This hotel is nice and quiet. The staff was friendly. We were visiting family in the area for a birthday celebration and this place was perfect to get rest for the night.

This is my hotel of choice through Expedia every time I come there to visit with my Son, Daughter-in-law, and my Grandchildren. My stay was very comfortable, with one exception that I forgot to mention in my survey for the hotel. It is difficult for someone my age to use the toilet. It is so low, it makes it difficult to stand up again. That would be my only negative for this hotel.

Ii visited a family member who is a resident at parc hill blvd in orange city home for the elderly! And was so happy the hotel was 10 min drive away, very convenient. Will stay again on my next visit.

It was nice. Close to family

For the price, I did not feel as though this hotel met my expectations. There wasn’t anything wrong with it, but it is definitely dated. The lights from the parking lot shine in your room all night. Especially if you are on the 3rd floor. I sent my 3 kids to get breakfast with out me, ages 9,14, & 18 the hotel staff proceeded to tell them they couldn’t bring their breakfast upstairs but other families accessed the elevators with no problems. When I left the hotel I accidentally forgot a charger and a pair of pajamas. When I called I was informed stuff left behind was locked in storage and I would have to come when housekeeping was on duty. Fast forward I show up, house keeping didn’t have it.. lol well okay.. the cord maybe I misplaced but I didn’t misplace a pajama set that included a robe. So that’s all I have to say about the trustworthiness of the staff. Other then that.. it worked for one night.

The staff at this hotel are lovely. The hotel needs a major overhaul and remodel. We had several rooms and requested a quiet zone. There are no quiet zones in any hotel. Other guests are noisy and inconsiderate. All of my party complained about the noise - noisy adults/children in the rooms/ doors slamming at all hours of the night. Room doors don't seal properly with large gaps/ bed comfy/ bathrooms need remodel. Breakfast was simple and varied. coffee was fabulous. Shame about other guests. Quiet time is posted and very visible. Guests don’t care. We really wish we could avoid any hotel stays during travel but flight times don’t always allow this.
